Epilogue

Valerie and Hawk were sitting in a helicopter as they flew over the vast forest. Iris was the pilot.

"So, let me get this straight.", Iris said, her voice incredulous. "Two days ago, both of you completed the mission. Your parachute got stuck on a tree, which meant most of your equipment is hanging ten feet over the canopy at this moment."

"That's correct.", replied Hawk.

"And your next contact with me, requesting extraction, was two hours ago.", Iris continued.

"That's...right", replied Valerie.

"And you", she looked at Valerie, "were naked at the extraction point."

Valerie felt herself go red. "That information is not relevant, and can be excluded from the mission report.", said Hawk, coming to her defense.

"You shut up, mister.", snapped Iris. "What were you two doing for two days in the forest?"

Valerie stepped out of the cloak she had wrapped around her, exposing her naked body. "That information isn't relevant to the mission.", she said, her voice mischievous.

"Iris, would you mind keeping your eyes in front? I don't want you losing concentration."

She moved to kiss Hawk, as the three of them flew into the sunset.
