Epilogue (GRAY JEDI ENDING)

One day Drek reports, that he had found a hidden datapad, that once belonged to Palpatine. It states that he had a son once, but there are no available records of him, even the Republic archives are silent about his identity. Without any trace to follow, the case way quickly closed and never brought up again. Until Ranvi had a vision about an old Anakin training a girl, whose presence was very similar to Palpatine's, leaving no doubt, that she was his granddaughter. Ranvi saw a planet filled with sand and wastes, which she could later identify as Jakku. Combining the power of the light, dark and witch magic, Ranvi was able to see a vision that allowed her to retrace her previous vision and see what had been happening on Jakku. Rey, the granddaughter of Palpatine, was left behind be her parents to protect her from the New Jedi Order you were leading, as they knew the relatives of Palpatine might be in danger if discovered alive. Later, Anakin found her and decided to train her on Jakku, which was seen a fit place to hide, as you would never have looked for him at a sandy place. Reacting swiftly, you get into your fighter and travel there personally to finish what you have started all those years ago, defeating Anakin and bringing Rey into your order would close a chapter in galactic history for good. Upon landing, on Jakku near the place Ranvi told you about in her vision, you spot a crushed starship in the sands. You are about to approach the ship when an old man and a young girl come out of it. The old man must be Anakin by his appearance, he is 65 according to the Jedi records. The girl must be the one you are looking for, she seems to be no older than 8.

Rey: Who is this person Master Anakin?

Anakin (softly pushing her back into the ship): Go back inside Rey, I'm going to handle this alone.

Rey: But do hurry, the soup is going to be filled with sand if you stay out there for too long! I know how much you hate sand!

Lana (after Rey goes inside): So this is what you have been doing lately...

Anakin: Why have you come here Lana? Haven't you taken enough lives so far?!

Lana: I haven't taken any that wasn't necessary for the greater good! The Jedi were losing their way, you knew that too! You weren't the perfect living example of the Jedi code, I was only reforming the order to allow for the things we all felt were our rights! Love, fear, anger, lust, those are all emotions we shouldn't try to hide, but accept and live together with!

Anakin: I assume you haven't come all the way out here to talk philosophy, have you?

Lana: No, that's right. I came here to offer you a choice. The new Jedi are living according to a creed you have lived with for your whole life. We need not be adversaries, you would be welcomed back into the temple! As well as Rey would be!

Anakin: Your Jedi order has nothing to do with me or her. I have experienced all sorts of emotions through my life, I have no need for your new code or whatever it is you could be offering.

Lana: It's just the opposite, it's you who has much to offer to the next generation of Jedi! Think about it, you could be teaching many younglings, not just one! You could be a master in the council, as you have always wanted to be!

Anakin: I no longer strive for such things... All I seek right now is you to leave this place for good and leave us alone once and for all.

Lana: I'm afraid that's not going to work like that...

Anakin (gripping his lightsaber's hilt): I wasn't expecting it to go any other way from the beginning...!

Lana: Do you know who that girl is...? Who her parents were? Who her grandfather truly was?

Anakin: Yes, I have been watching all your actions in the past decades, I know her background better than you imagine. Her birthright is to become more powerful than either of us and one day rid this galaxy of **** users to ensure no being could ever grow so powerful to do things like you, Talzin or Palpatine could have done! A galaxy without the **** to be used would be a galaxy of true balance, with no interference. Your "gray Jedi" ways are no more but an enslavement of the **** itself! It must come to an end, and she will be the one to fulfill my words!

Lana: I ma sorry it had to come to this... If only Padmé could have been here, she might have convinced you to act otherwise...

Anakin: Padmé...? You were the one who separated us! When you killed all the Jedi, I sensed I must leave her for her own safety! I have never contacted her again afterwards, not to bring any harm to her! Both our hearts were broken because of your actions! When years later, the sadness ultimately consumed her and she died, I attended her funeral on Naboo to see her face one last time with my own eyes... I will never forgive you for that!

Lana: I never wanted this for you. I never wanted any of this for you... I am sorry Anakin...

Anakin (activating his lightsaber): As am I... Now let's end this!

You both run towards the other and clash with your sabers. His strength has dwindled by his old age, he acts as if he was strong as he used to be, but you sense his weaker state. He is surprised to experience that your strength somehow hasn't decreased after all these years... As he was lowering his guard for a second to comprehend how your moves could still be as fast as if you were half his age, you take your helmet off and show him, that your body hasn't aged for the last three decades. He calls you a witch and continues the sparring, despite knowing he has little chance against you at your prime. At a moment of weakness, you slash his lightsaber's hilt in two and **** push him against a sand hill nearby. He attempts to use all sorts of **** attacks against you, push, ****, etc, but all are in vain as you repel them without a single move, while slowly walking towards him. When he is in melee range, he only asks you to take good care of Rey once you take her away. You promise to give her the best training you can before slashing at his body. Rey, who had come out of their home, was watching the whole thing first hand. She was petrified at the sight of the **** of her master. You tried to convince her to come with you willingly, but she refused, so you had to make her **** with the **** and take her with you without her consent. As years pass, her power grow larger and larger, soon making her the best student in the temple by achieving knighthood at an age of 18, rivalling the previous best, Anakin Skywalker. Master Maul has often been vary about Rey's training, he sensed too much of Palpatine in her, fearing one day she might turn against the order and its members.

Maul: This girl... I still don't trust her. The darkness is present in her heart, waiting to devour her at the right moment. She is too dangerous and uncontrollable. I for one, would prefer to expel her from the order for good or eliminate her as she is right nor.

Ranvi: Maul, only because she is the granddaughter of Palpatine, you cannot deny her the Jedi training. You too were a strong follower of the Sith teachings when we found you, and now look at yourself!

Maul: Yes, but whenever I look at her I sense the presence of my former master. His shadow is looming around her, whether you would accept this fact or not.

Lana: Come what may, we won't be killing any of our students here! Whoever her ancestors may have been, she deserves the same training as any other student. We should pay attention to her progress, but we shouldn't put more weights on her shoulders than necessary, by revealing the truth.

Maul: Hmm... We will see... But don't tell me later I haven't warned you...

What none of you knew is that Rey had been tortured by nightmares from time to time in her dreams. Nightmares, that she didn't know weren't imaginary things, but memory flashbacks. She often saw her parents leaving her in the desert... An old man training her the Jedi ways... And a Jedi killing that old man in front of her... She couldn't see the face of the man, but she felt she had loved her as a father. Among these flashback, she heard a calling from an unknown voice, urging her to find an ancient place where she truly belongs... She was spending a lot of time trying to find the place she was called to in her dreams, until she finally found it. An ancient planet in the unknown regions, called Exegol. It used to be a Sith planet, a place where the dark side is at its strongest in that part of the galaxy. As she reads more and more about the planet, suddenly all her previous nightmares strike her at once, making her realise they weren't nightmares but flashbacks from her childhood. Furious after her memories returned, she plans to strike back at your order when the time will be right, which is about to happen some days later, when all the masters will be off to celebrate the anniversary of the foundation of the Republic on Corellia, one of the founding planets. When every master is away, nobody is left to challenge her in the temple. She unleashes all her fury and begins attacking student after student, slaying the unsuspecting members one after an other. Feeling the strike against your students all the way from Corellia, you all swiftly contact the temple and learn of what's happening in there. Using your ships to rush back, you find half of the students killed of wounded inside, only your quick reaction saved the rest of them from the same fate. Upon sensing your arrival, Rey left with her starfighter to see Exegol for herself. Realizing what has been done, you cannot let her go unpunished. Gathering every master, able bodied Jedi knight and Nightsister, you set out for Exegol to put an end to this insurrection of hers. Just as you land next to her ship and enter the ancient Sith temple, you see her standing next to a throne, on which the **** ghost of Darth Sidious is sitting.

Maul: Aah... Sidious...!

Sidious: You are too late Jedi, my grandchild here will soon unite with me and unleash a power far beyond any of yours! Empress Palpatine, shall destroy you all!

Rey: That's right, soon I will become the most powerful being in the galaxy and nobody will be able to stop me from ruling the whole galaxy!

Lana: Rey! I know you are angry for you were being lied to... But please, understand it was for your sake...! Don't let the darkness fully consume you, you are better than this!

Rey: I have grown tired of the lies of the Jedi, all I received from you were a fake past! But now, it is time for ****!

Lana: Rey, don't do it!

She **** pulls Sidious's spirit into herself, uniting the two with a series of flashes. All the power Palpatine had is now under Rey's command.

Rey: Finally! Unlimited power!

She activates her dual lightsaber and charges at your group. Lightsabers are ignited by every Jedi, vibroblades are raised by the Nightsisters as you prepare for her charge. Her initial **** proves devastating, she easily cuts down Jedi knights one by one. Only the 6 masters are able to hold their own against her attacks, but it is clear she is far more powerful than either of you. You try all you can, the ****, raw strength of attacks with the lightsaber, Nightsister magic, but she is able to absorb all the **** powers and return them at you, while parrying all you sabre attack with ease. Within minutes, half of your Jedi army lays dead in the temple, further feeding her lust for more Jedi blood. She taunts you after every few kills to demoralise everybody.

Rey: You cannot possibly defeat me! You are nothing, a piece of dust compared to my power! You could as well kill yourselves, it would at least save me some time!

Lana (thinking): It cannot be! Nobody is invincible! We only have to find a way to exploit a weakness of hers! Hmm... If she absorbs all the **** powers directed at her, maybe... Maybe she has a limit...! If we make her reach her limit, we might push her beyond the threshold and defeat her!

Lana: Everybody, use **** lightning against her at the same time!

Rey: Your pointless attacks are a wasted effort against me! You cannot defeat me, no matter how hard you try!

Despite her mocking, the Jedi do as you said and everybody attacks Rey with **** lightning, which gets absorbed around her by her **** absorption.

Ranvi: I do hope you have a plan Lana...! This doesn't seem to work...!

Rey: Because it isn't working!

Lana: Trust me Ranvi, this is the best chance we have against her, keep up the attack!

Rey: How naive! Just because you are attacking me from all directions, you lightnings are...! Wait, what...?

The **** barrier around her is growing weaker and smaller in size as it is running out of power.

Rey: But how...?! How is that possible?!

Before she could react, the barrier collapses entirely and allows all the **** lightning sent by every Jedi to hit her at once, essentially frying her instantly. You tried to stop the attack, but it was already too late. There was a loud scream of pain from Rey, but she went silent right away. You run to her, but find her body burnt to ashes, leaving nothing behind but her lightsaber's red crystals in the molten metal and a pile of ash. That is all that's left behind by Sidious and Rey. A few moments of silence are made in her memory, before taking the crystal out of the ash to be brought back into the Jedi temple. Now, the last threat to the Jedi order has been overcome, finally, true balance has been brought into the galaxy. From now on, there are no Jedi, nor Sith, there is only the **** itself and its humble servants.
