Epilogue: Father-In-Law From Heaven

"Oklahoma," Lois Lane said out loud to herself, as she sat down on the porch. The movers were bringing the boxes into their ranch-style house. The former reporter rubbed her swollen stomach. At twenty-eight weeks pregnant with quadruplets, Lois could feel the weight of her massive womb on her thighs. No bra she owned could contain her tits anymore, which sagged out on either side. "No metahuman presence worth mentioning."

There were no trees. Dry, dusty ground, scorpions hiding in the shade of rocks. Off the grid, down a dirt road, too far to even waddle into town. It felt like the end of the world. Or the end of her life.

Officially, they were now Sally and Susan Shazam now. Lois had looked over the documents that Batman had provided. IDs, marriage license, birth certificates...and, surprisingly, a book contract.

"What's this?" She asked.

"Something to keep you busy. If you disappeared completely, people would go looking. So officially you're still on maternity leave from the Daily Planet, and working on a book. Six figure advance. There's a satellite uplink at your new home, you can do the research online. Just stick to your new name. Don't try to contact anyone from your old life."

A book. Lois had actually liked that.

Angie brought in the last of the boxes, paid the movers, and came out to join Lois on the porch.

"So...how's my wife Sally doing?" Blaze asked.

"Fine, 'Susan.'" Lois said. The reporter raised her arm and draped it over the demon's shoulder, letting her fingers play the back of the dickgirl's neck, the soft fine hairs there. They could still see the dust of the truck, making its way down the road. The clear sky was darkening slowly. "I just wish they'd relocated us to Vancouver or something. It's going to be hell getting to a maternity ward when the babies—"

Thunder cracked. Blaze stiffened, her whole body suddenly rigid. Lois was instantly alert, eyes wide...there wasn't a cloud in the sky...but there was an old man in a white robe, standing in their new driveway.

"Babe?" Lois said, struggling to stand. "Who is it?"

Blaze bared her teeth, but motioned for Lois to stay seated. "More trouble. Don't get up."

There was a heavy tread on the wooden steps leading up to the porch. The old man gained the summit easily. He was bald on top, but he had a silver fringe around the sides that fell to his shoulders, and a curled beard like an Old Testament prophet. The dark eyes seemed to flash in that deeply lined face, and there was something almost familiar about his appearance.

"Greetings," he said. That was when Lois twigged to it. His voice. Deep and sonorous, and he spoke in English, but it was English inflected with an accent like Angie's.

"Old man," Blaze said. "What do you want?"

He raised a hand against one of the porch's pillars and leaned against it.

"I wished to...offer my assistance," he said at last. His eyes flicked over Lois and her gravid girth. "And see my new daughter-in-law."

Blaze's jaw worked. Lois massaged the back of her neck gently. When the dickgirl didn't speak, the old man continued.

"I heard about what happened with your brother. I am here to strengthen the magical defenses of your new home. The signs and seals of concealment and protection."

"Don't need your help," Blaze said gruffly. "Don't need anything from you."

"If not for your own sake," he said, voice quieter now. "Then for your unborn children."

Angie scowled. "Fine. Door's open. Get on with it and get out."

He nodded, once. Turned and walked into their new home.

"Babe..." Lois began...but knew better than to pry. Months with the dickgirl had taught her that if Blaze opened up at all, it would be in her own time. Surprisingly, it didn't take Angie long.

"My mother was a demon. I told you that. He...she seduced him. My brother and I, we were raised apart. For centuries, we've opposed his champions. Opposed him. We're enemies." She paused. "I mean, we...were. I guess."

The demon looked down at the hands of her human guise.

"It seems so silly now."

"Maybe this is a chance for you to connect?" Lois said. "I mean, it's...it might be good for the kids. To know their grandpa."

Blaze took a deep breath, but said nothing.

They watched the sunset. The moon had risen, by the time the old man came back out to the porch.

"It is done," he said. "Although the rituals of renewal should be performed every full moon. If you will permit me."

"You can...visit. If you want," Blaze said. Every word felt like it was being **** out of her. "Just, call first next time. We might have been busy."

He gave a smile. It was much like Angie's. Like he knew a secret no one else did. Very carefully, the wizard Shazam gave Lois a wink.

"I shall. It was...good to see you both. Until next time."

The wizard stepped off the porch. Thunder clapped. He was gone.

Blaze sagged. Tension draining from her body. Lois smiled. She knew how to handle an upset demon too.

"Carry me inside," she asked.

With unnatural strength, "Susan Shazam" picked up "Sally," and crossed the threshold. Given the pregnant woman's girth, the demon had to go sideways.

"How many rooms in this house?" Lois asked.

"Five bedrooms, three baths...living room, dining room, kitchen, garage...basement that doubles as a storm cellar...why?" Blaze asked.

"Because I want to fuck in each and every one of them," Lois said with determination. "Now why don't you lay me down on the bed and fuck my throat for a while?"

It wasn't true that demons think with their dicks. Yet Lois Lane had found, on her back with her head hanging over the bed, the half-hard cock a familiar and welcome presence as it slipped past her uvula, her wife's hands groping her big, soft tits—that a little bit of positive enforcement went a long way.

Besides which, maybe with the wizard on our side, we can get the Marvel family to babysit when the kids are born.

Fin?
