Enter the building

As you passed through the window frame, you felt a sudden tingling sensation through your entire body, and you realized that you were now operating from within the node.

"Hello!" you called out. "6T9, can you hear me?" Once again, there was only silence.

After leaving the small room, you entered a long hallway with many doors. 6T9 must be in one of them, but which? You noticed each door had a number along with some other symbols. Unfortunately, the universal translation implant didn't help for these. With no other options, you decided to begin opening the doors, starting from one end and working your way through the entire hallway.

The first room you tried was empty, just like the one you exited. So was the next room, and the next. Why were there so many empty rooms? Had you been too late? Maybe this node ended up getting reset, clearing all of its data.

Frantically, you tried door after door, only to discover each was similarly empty. Out of desperation, you tried calling out again, even louder this time. "6T9, can you hear me? Please say something."

After a few seconds, a feeble-sounding voice finally replied from the far end of the hallway. "I'm here."
