Enter The Village !

Debbi's bikini clad appearance on the evening news in Costa Rica made quite an impression. Her personality came over well despite the use of subtitles. And there was a serious insert about the work of the water charity. Although the region has ample rainfall, there is an acute need for purification and sanitation. As a consequence of this appearance, the decision was made that a film crew should accompany them to the native village for the calendar shoot. Hence it was quite a party travelling up river by motorised canoe towards the reservation.

The local organiser Pablo, together with Sunil, had made arrangements with the village chief and so the party was expected. Debbi was immediately swamped by hordes of naked children. Apart from the children, the villagers normally wore western clothes. But when tourists were expected or there was a project such as this, they changed into traditional loin clothes and beads. The women took charge of Debbi and began tugging at her outfit of khaki shirt and shorts. "Looks like they want to get your kit off already Deb" laughed Lawrence.

"Are we shooting right away or what ?" Debbi cried to Lawrence as the film crew began unloading their gear from the canoes. "I need to recce the light and locations first" he called back. "But no problem with you getting naked right away, might as well get everyone used to it !" he laughed. Despite Debbi's recently uncovered exhibitionist streak, she felt a little out of her comfort zone in this environment as the tribeswomen began leading her towards a large hut. "Are you sure?" she called back to Lawrence. "Of course, you'll be fine" he shouted back, already perusing the site for photo opportunities and setting his light meter.
