Just as your readings said, this district is more like a slum. That doesn't completely ruin the majesty, however. Personal vehicles fly freely through the sky with only a small number still using tires down on the road. There are a number of different looking people--some blue, some red. Pieces of data appear through your vision as your sensors lock onto various individuals, but then it halts at one approaching the two of you, no doubt seeming suspicious of two folk speed-walking out from an alleyway.

The man has verdant skin with short hair--green, yet so dark it mostly appears black--protruding out from beneath a bright hardhat. He has attire to match, with a bright orange vest. Clearly he's a city worker. His gaze has less of a definitive iris and pupil as you do, modelled after a human, so instead they're mostly blue. His face is unkempt with messy stubble, and there are bags under his eyes.

"Hey, stop right there, two you," he says in a gruff tone. "What do you think you're doing past the line? Don't you know how dangerous this area is?"

"Oh yeah of course," the doctor says with a nervous laugh. "Sorry. We got a little lost and took this alley as a shortcut."

"I don't know. That's pretty weird. We've got tape blocking off this entire area, so you'd have to have gone right under it. We're literally minutes away from this whole building coming down, you know."

He's staring at the doctor far more than you. You're beginning to worry. If she's been doing this for quite some time, who knows? She might even be wanted, or people may have just seen her coming and going before. The last thing we want is to be taken in for questioning, especially if I am as special as she makes me out to be. What do I truly know about Dr. Freling? She said she wouldn't keep things from me after all.

You focus. As quickly as you can, you search your database for information that could help.

Doctor Diana Freling. You can find a copious amount proof that she's incredibly intelligent, but that doesn't affect the situation at hand. Though after a brief moment of your fast, powerful processing unit doing all it can do, you discern something quite interesting. This woman is a bit of ghost. While she seems to exist, there's hardly anything about her. The finally, you find the troubling part. It's a pseudonym. She changed her name due to a criminal record.

"What's going on over here?" another voice chimes in. This man is only slightly younger in appearance, but he's a human from what you can tell--long brown hair with a clean shaven face. In his hand is a clipboard. "Is there trouble?"

The moment the first man turns to speak, Dr. Freling pinches the collar of her coat and whispers. Much to your surprise, her voice comes directly to your mind, beyond the sensation of speaking straight into your ear. "I promise I'll explain later, but I can't afford to let them look at me too closely. We'll have to cause a distraction. If we just attack or run away, it'll be a nightmare getting off the planet."

You look to her with fear in your eyes. She may be odd, but she's so far seemed to know exactly what she'd been doing. I bet she'll think of something then. Or maybe I should try something myself, and impress her.
