Rogue launches at Zatanna at lightning speed. Zatanna, holding back, jumps to the side. Rogue isn't caught off guard by this and jerks right and slams Zatanna to the ground.

Zatanna, overwhelmed and stunned, attempts to get up but is rushed by a flurry of a punches and kicks. She attempts to move but realises all her pressure points have been hit, making her virtually paralyzed. "Shit, this girl isn't a pushover. I shouldn't let my pride get the best of me." As she sees Rogue getting ready for another barrage, she commands time to stop.

Resting for a bit, Zatanna finally is able to stand up, being battered and weak. She examines Rogue. Cocky and warmed up, Rogue's hand clamping her fist suggests that. Her facial expression is the total opposite now, being confident and sassy.

Zatanna can't stand the sight of her any longer. She musters up all her strength and punches Rogue in the face repeatedly. "You. Little. Bitch!" But they inflict barely any damage on her, with each consecutive punch barely tilting her head. Frustrated, Zatanna yells out a spell, inflicting herself with Superman-level strength, and gives Rogue a good old fashioned roundhouse kick. The strength of the attack launched Rogue out of the rooftop and crashing down into the concrete road amongst the busy intersection. Zatanna teleports herself down there and sees Rogue in the same exact position, except with her head jerked back by a considerable margin. The fall has destroyed a great amount of the road, with debris flying everywhere.

Zatanna walks up to her and lifts Rogue by her hair, and pinches her face, giving her a swollen appearance. "Now, let's see what little southie will do now." Exasperated, she unfreezes time.
