Ending; When she smiles...

The Next Day...

Following Marianne's little adventure across the academia just to get dressed, she suprised Byleth by inviting him to another tea party on the academy's courtyard, which he nevertherless, attended as she requested.

"So..., looks like nothing bad happened after yesterday...", exclamed Byleth to Marianne as he drank his tea.

"Sure, i should be grateful that nobody saw anything important, except for you of course....", replied Marianne as she held her cup.

"You know..., after what happened yesterday, it surprises me that you would want another tea party, specially since i was the responsible of your dress getting stained", he commented after taking a sip.

"Yes, but i just wanted to have a normal tea party with you..., to repay you for helping me", explained Marianne as she drank her own cup, accidentaly letting a drop of tea to fall to her uniform, staining it.

"Ehh, do you want me to clean it ?", offered Byleth.

"Sorry, but no thanks", Marianne simply responded, upon which, the two of them laughted, and continued on with their tea party.

And so, as Marianne continued to drink her tea alongside Byleth, she began to think about the events of yesterday, about how a such little mistake led to her losing her dress, how Hilda had tricked her into wearing that termite-ridden dress, and the how if it wasn't for Byleth timely intervention, she would have ended naked on the hallway, upon which, she began to wonder about how things could have turned differently, had she made different choices back then.
