End of year one

Four days later Harry awoke to voices.

"I really must insist he be allowed to rest and wake up on his own. I'm constantly chasing Granger and Weasley out of here.

"They are worried about their friend Madam Pomfrey. And," Dumbledore glanced at a stirring Harry,"he awakens now. How are you dear boy?"

Harry took a long swallow of water from the cup beside his bed trying to moisten his parched throat. "What happened." He croaked.

"Apparently your touch is toxic to a host of Voldemort. It didn't do you any favors either but Quirrel is quite dead."

"I......okay." The thought of having killed was like a stone in the pit of his stomach.

"Um, Professor, not to be rude but why were the puzzles guarding the stone so easy? I mean Hermione is brilliant but a trio of first years should not have made it through so easily."

Dumbledore chuckled, "I'm not sure your friend Ron would say that was easy. He's fine by the way," Dumbledore added at Harry's distressed look. "But the last was always meant to be the stopper.

"You see only someone who wanted to find but not use the stone could get it. I had no fear of it falling in the wrong hands."

Harry returned to the tower to the cheers of the other Gryffindors. They had lost the last match and Quidditch Cup while he was comatose, but they had all heard what he had done.

Angelina hugged him, her lithe toned body felt great against his. He couldn't help getting hard and was sure she felt it.

She brought her lips close to his ear. "Maybe next year." As she stepped away she trailed hard hand across his bulge and winked.

The ride home was bittersweet. The pressure of classes was over but his time at Hogwarts was the best of his life. He didn't relish the thought of three months with the Dursleys but Dumbledore insisted he had to.

They looked at him with fear and trpidation as he approached, 'Guess I'll try to make the best of it" Harry smiled to himself.
