End of the world as you know it.

Following Doctor Reed back up to her office, finding some pants along the way for the two of you and some shirts that fit the both of you as well. She sits own in front of a computer terminal and you watch as she logs in then starts inputting commands, looking at the reply's the system gives her Doctor Redd mutters to herself the whole time all the while trying to get comfortable with her bodies changes. All of a sudden Doctor Reed slams her hand down on the desk and swears, " you have got to be fucking kidding me".

Startling both you and Kimmy she begins bringing up more and more options on the screen that are not normal for sure as she has to input password after password. Finally she she brings up what looks like an online video chat service but one you have never seen before, then angles the web cam so only her head will show and pulls her hair into a very messy bun and rubs some make up under her eyes making her look tired, not to mention making her look less attractive as well in some ways as now she looks like she has been on a bender or all night study session. Really not getting why she is doing this she starts clicking icons over and over again once she is happy with how she looks, then its hits you she is trying to call for help or report in maybe and if she looks like she did to someone who knows her they will think she has gone bimbo and god knows where that could end up. Yet every single icon she clicks on brings up nothing but a blank screen, till one final has a woman in a military uniform appear. " Rachel thank god when you facility went into lockdown I feared the worst what the hell happened".

Guessing Rachel is Doctor Reed you listen to see what is going on, " do not oh Rachel me, if you were worried were is the response team Hanna and I have seen the notice who triggered operation Ark". Sighing the woman who you notice is a full blow colonel in the air force by the looks of her uniform, debates what to say then just comes out with it. " Look Rachel the numbers hit the mark set up for operation Ark three days ago the President and other surviving leaders of the world all agreed it was time and you know we have had no luck on any form of vaccine or cure for this. We are lucky this thing is burning through the infected so fast, indications are the male PSH and MSH will all be dead within ten years max. Not to mention the bimbos who first contracted the virus are showing clear signs of the virus leaving them with anti bodies that we can use but it will take more time then we have. Look Rachel they will not let me send a chopper to you with the facility having gone into lockdown and by the time the isolation period is over it will be too late, just try and find somewhere to stay low hell kill you test subjects and stay on sight you are secure and I am sure you can find ways to make it through all of this with what is at hand".

Doctor Reed is clearly very upset and is struggling to say something, taking a deep breath she just smiles at Hanna, " thank you for the information I maybe here I may not be Hanna, the PSH and MSH subjects are all dead any ways they had to be put down, good luck, maybe we will meet again in the future". Disconnecting the call Doctor Reed shuts the computer down and walks over to a desk and starts pulling out key cards and keys to god knows what. What ever this operation Ark is it does not sound good news, " Doc how fucked are we be honest with me now".

Stopping what she is doing Doctor Reed looks you straight in the eye and lays it all out, "operation Ark is the worst case scenario that we came up with, it means the numbers of dead and infected have reached more then two thirds of the worlds population and that all key none infected survivors will be sent to isolation zones already set up across the globe in an attempt to save the human race". Listening to this its the key part that has you the most interested and ask about it, " I guess these sites are not for the likes of me before this shit happened to me Doc".

Snorting Doctor Reed smiles at that, " hitting the nail on the head there Joe, the sites can only accommodate a small number of the possible none infected, we just did not have time to build a lot of these sites so anyone going to one of these sites first has to undergo testing and quarantine upon arrival so you would raise a massive red flag in you current state. But to get selected in the first place the person has to have a skill set needed to help rebuild after this all blows over or be the plus one of someone who has a skill set or be super mega rich and can buy your way in of course as someone had to pay and build all of this in record time".

So even if they send some body to the site you would be left behind at best or shoot at worst nice to know, thinking on this it is time to supply up as best as possible and then get the hell out of this building. It is then Doctor Reed tells you to come with her now, following behind her she leads you and Kimmy to what looks like a cleaning supply closet and she moves a few things off a shelf and exposes a panel behind which she uses first a key then a key card and then a passcode. Which then causes the wall to open. Following her once more you walk down a tunnel and arrive at a room that is at best described as a gun nuts survivalists wet dream on steroids.

On one wall is more guns then you could ever hope for and what is clearly survival gear along another wall in the shape of long life rations, water, fuel cells stoves heating packs you name it its on that shelf. " Ok Doc what is this stuff and why all the secret door to get to it". Doctor Reed answers as she starts to pack a bag, " this is a fall back position that was set up at the start by the former head of security and myself before he died, it was to be used if things got bad or we had a change of management so to speak and you can call me Rachel now as my job is gone and I intend to make it out of this alive and I feel we are all in this boat together now including little miss slave over there ". Rachel picks up a bunch of clip boards and hands you one and tells you to get to doing inventory, checking over the food and water as the good Doctor the same with another clip board.

After checking the place out for everything useful you are now armed at least and with rounds that will do damage to anything as it seems the former head of security did not believe in over kill as almost every type of round is either heavy hitting or amour piecing in some way. The food is good but not that great so Rachel then has you raid the kitchen area and find every scrape of food that can be taken with you and to make a list of what is left in the fridges, freezers and cupboards. You would think this is over the top but after seeing the topside security cameras you are in no hurry to leave now having seen a large number of infected males prowling the area as it just so happens you are in a god dam city that was overrun a few days ago after the military pulled out that is also on the other side of the country to home.
