End of Shift

After the whole House Cerberus debacle you did keep good on your promise and scolded the hungover student before letting him off with a small fine and a more stern word.

The rest of the day went smoothly with a few students locked out of their room but otherwise it settled into a relatively quiet night. As you stepped back from the suit of armor you admired the small but intricate seals and runes you had engraved onto the metal armor everything from electric resistance seals to sound muffling seals were inscribed onto your armored guardian and as you drew your magical stylus once more you drew one last seal seal onto the back metal plate before the suit of armor slowly dissolved into a purple dust before a purple spell card landed into your hand depicting your armored guardian. Now you had another card to add to your spell deck.

As you wiped the sweat from your face you began to slowly put away your tools and enchanting instruments before you noticed your crow sitting with two letters in his beak. Quickly petting your crow you took the two letters before quickly reading them both. As you looked them over you sighed in frustration as it appeared your other two dueling offers had been cancelled as the professor and Austin both weren’t interested in training alongside two other dueling coaches.

Setting down the letters you remembered that in three weeks were the start of dueling season. At least you could perfect your spells and dueling during this time honing your mind and body for the trials the dueling leagues would bring you. As you contemplated your future in dueling one of the RA seals dinged much to your annoyance and with a sigh you made your way up the stairs once more.
