Chapter 17 by Zeebop Zeebop

How Does Blaze Respond?

End: Ice Cream?

Which is how, half an hour later, Lois Lane and Angelica Blaze were sitting outside of an all-night ice cream diner, enjoying a pint of salted caramel and pistachio chocolate swirl.

Lois felt...she didn't know how she felt. Blaze had resumed her human guise, and insisted on paying for the ice cream. The succubus had been strangely quiet as they had walked down to the ice cream shop, barely said a word while they had ordered, and now they ate in silence.

There was a lot for the reporter to process. She had been chasing Superman for so long, and now out of the blue she'd broken her sexual dry spell, unprotected, and ended up pregnant...there was an odd certainty in her mind about that. It was something she couldn't quite believe, yet the fact of it was never far from her mind. A baby. In her womb. Right now. It seemed so fantastic...and intellectually, Lois knew it was fantastic. Right now, sperm might not even have met egg. Fertilized eggs took time to implant. It took hours for the cells to divide and multiply. Properly speaking, Lois wasn't pregnant until she missed her first period, and even then so many pregnancies ended in miscarriage in the first trimester...

"The baby will be fine. I did a spell," Blaze mumbled. "You won't have a miscarriage."

Lois looked up from her salted caramel.

"You were, um. Thinking pretty loudly," Blaze said. She didn't blush, exactly, but she looked away to avoid the reporter's gaze.

The reporter dabbed a paper napkin at her mouth.

"So...you can read my thoughts?" Lois said.

"Sometimes. Most mortals are...wide open. Their emotions show on their aura, their thoughts spill out. When we're young, it can be overwhelming. As we mature, we learn to filter out the mental noise...or selectively open ourselves up to it. I can teach you how to protect your thoughts, if you don't want me to listen in," Blaze said.

Lois Lane's eyes narrowed. Her curiosity was aroused.

"Can you teach me how to read your thoughts?" he reporter asked.

Blaze raised her eyes to meet the reporter's gaze, her face a mask of confusion.

"I...could. It would take some time," Blaze said.

"Well, we've got forty weeks before there's anything on my schedule," Lois said with a smile. "I was thinking..."

The reporter let her words trail off. Just let the ideas, the images roll through her mind, knowing Blaze was attuned to her. The two of them together, going on dates. Picking out baby clothes and crib. Going to Lamaze classes. Getting to know each other. Growing closer. It was like a Hallmark movie...

...and then some strange little thought slid into the reporter's brain. Lois at her desk at the Daily Planet, when something slipped into the back of her mind. One hand slipping beneath the level of her desk, between her legs, rubbing at her panties as Angie, somewhere out in the city, stroked her cock...the two of them sharing, at that moment, the same erotic fantasy telepathically. Biting her lip so no one would hear her moan.

Lois blinked and shook her head, the intensity of the daydream bringing a flush to her cheeks, her nipples hard inside her bra. Blaze smiled and said nothing, only reached over to take a spoonful of the reporter's ice cream.

"I know you said that you can't marry me," Blaze said. "But I hope, one day, to prove you wrong. I will do whatever it takes to win your heart."

You mean my pussy, Lois thought to herself.

"That too," Blaze said, and stuck her tongue out...and Lois Lane could not help but laugh.

Things had been set in motion in the reporter's body that could not be undone and would have to take their course. Now, Blaze knew, the battleground had shifted from Lois Lane's knickers to her mind and heart. If she could besiege those fortresses and conquer them...then she would own the reporter body and soul.

When Lois Lane had first stepped foot into her club for a night out, the succubus had little thought for anything except a bit of pleasure, a chance to humiliate Superman, or perhaps turn Lois against him...but now, the Kryptonian was in the back of her thoughts. She had her sights set on a much grander prize. A challenge worthy of her...and Lois blushed. After so long pursuing Superman, it felt good to actually be pursued...yet she was still wary. There was so much she didn't know about Blaze...including how far the demon would go to insure that the reporter would eventually accept her proposal.

Yet that is another story.

The End
