End: Her Prayers Are Answered

Lois Lane sat on the toilet, afraid to leave. The demon Blaze was out there, probably stroking her big juicy cock, working up another load of jizz to pump into the reporter's dripping cunt...or ass...or mouth...or maybe just to jizz onto the floor and make her lick it up.

A gentle knock at the door.

"Miss Lane?" A woman's voice. Young. Not Blaze. Lois let herself breathe again.

"Miss Lane, it's Mary Marvel. You can come out now. It's over."

Doing her best to stop her shivering, Lois Lane crept down off the toilet. Her hand touched the doorknob, and a little white spark leaped out and zapped her. She frowned...and then opened the door.

Her apartment was gone. A gaping hole remained, showing the ruined apartment below. Floating above the wreckage was a young woman with brown hair in a red dress, a yellow lightning bolt emblazoned across her chest. She saw Lois Lane's nakedness and slipped off her white cape. The reporter accepted it gratefully, pulling it around her body.

"Is she...is Blaze gone?" Lois asked.

"Captain Marvel and Junior carried her to the Rock of Eternity," Mary said. Seeing the look of incomprehension in the reporter's eyes, she added. "She's gone. Maybe not for good, but for a long time. If you feel able to talk about it...what happened?"

Lois Lane took a deep breath. "It all started earlier this evening. Four women had gone missing, and I had gone to a club to track them down..."

Telling the story helped the reporter make sense of things. She remembered details that she hadn't registered at the time. It gave perspective to how she had arrived at where she was. Lois Lane finished with her text to Captain Marvel. Looked around at the ruin of her apartment.

"Can you take me to the Daily Planet?" she asked. "I have a change of clothes there...and I have an article to write."

Mary looked at her concerned.

"Are you going to be okay? I mean you..."

"I don't know if I'm going to be okay." Lois said honestly. "Not yet. But I have a job to do."

Lois put a hand on her stomach. And a future to think of, she didn't say.
