Emma moves on

Deciding it was better to keep moving Emma continued her path hoping to find something she could use to defend herself. If not a weapon then at least something to keep herself going for however long this takes. Moving past some trees Emma looked around hoping for a break in this situation she was in.

She eventually came across after what seemed like an hour of walking before she heard movement once more. Causing Emma to go wide eyed she began to run for it not knowing if it was a hunter or another contestant.

Emma kept running as she refused to let herself be caught anytime soon. But as she ran, she failed to realize the footprints she was leaving in her stead. By the time Emma noticed it the noise was getting louder and in turn Emma knew she had to think fast. Seeing the river nearby Emma ran to it but as she ran, she ended up tripping and falling into the water.

Scowling to this Emma got back up only to stop when she heard movement from her pursuers coming closer. Looking around Emma could only go deeper and hope they did not see her in the water.

Once Emma was deep enough, she turned around for a moment and saw they were just about to come through and thus jumping backwards into the water she allowed herself to float as best she could and held her silence to avoid detection.
