The day-shifters had clocked out. The usual meeting of the FBC LGBT Association was cancelled, instead deciding to treat two of their members to a night on the town.

Ranger Kirin Estevez and Accountant Janina Gavankar were getting married. All of their work friends had split into two groups and each of them went in opposite directions, deciding to give the pair their own individual bachelorette parties.

Oh Doe wasn't West Village's best strip club, but it was the closest one to the Oldest House. Thankfully it was catered specifically towards queer girls, which suited their needs quit nicely. It was one of their slower nights, which made the group's walk-in much easier on everyone. One of the rangers group-ordered the house-special, something tart and bright pink, as they all got cozy in an empty booth.

One from the group broke off unnoticed. She was blonde, not a hair out of place, with a white shirt and a grey work-skirt. She worked in the research sector, which put her at odds with the rest of the group, so it's likely none of them would have cared if they had noticed.

Emily Pope joined the Association more as a suggestion from her co-workers than any desire for solidarity. She heard the gossip, her co-workers calling her a stickler and an upstart. Saying that she needed a social life. Emily didn't have many hobbies or friends. She was married to the job, but apparently her job wasn't enough.
