Emergency Landing!

"Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We're going to have to make an emergency landing at the nearest airport. Ground control thinks it isn't safe enough for us to continue flying. Please fasten your seatbelts, we'll be updating you soon with more information." The same rich male voice said over the intercom, as Alexa shuddered a bit. Great. Already today was a terrible day, what with being diapered by someone else, and having to fly on a plane. Now they were doing an emergency landing! It was a series of very, very terrible events.

Alexa felt herself sinking into a pit of despair, grabbing onto her pant legs nervously. Her breathing became slightly labored, and she felt something touch her on the shoulder. A voice broke through her anxiety, and she listened to it.

"It'll be alright, Lexi. Don't worry so much, landings like this happen all the time." Carol's voice said, rubbing the nervous girls shoulder heavily. For Carol, it reminded her of helping her boys relax before a game, or how she frequently helped her oldest to stop crying. Whatever the case, it was all too easy for Carol to coax the girl to relax a bit.

"Really? I...absolutely hate flying.." Alexa said, not feeling as nervous at the prospect. Carol's handed moved down her shoulder, and onto Alexa's back, rubbing it in circles. Nervousness became just a bit of anxiety, and eventually, Alexa relaxed a bit. A flight attendant came by, the shaking of the plane having eased heavily.

"Drinks?" It was the same flight attendant as before. She didn't question Alexa's antsy request for a beer, nor Carol's request for water. Alexa slugged back the beer, munching on the pretzels the girl had given her. Carol let her alone for the time, but once Alexa had finished chugging it down, she smiled at her and spoke up.

Conversation flowed more easily between the two, and Alexa found herself slowly forgetting that she was even on a plane. Carol's offer of some snacks and water helped her as well, with the granola bars allowing her to munch on something else. In no time, Alexa felt a slight shock as the plane's wheels hit the ground. Surprised, she looked out the window, polishing off what remained of Carol's water.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we have landed. Please standby for further updates as we pull into the terminal. Please stay seated at this time." A female voice announced, as Alexa stared in amazement. It was horrible out there, worse then any storm Alexa had ever been in. Slowly the plane worked its way around the runway, and Alexa felt a familiar hand on her shoulder.

"Told ya. Listen to us ol' geezers every once in awhile." Carol said, causing both the women to laugh. In no time, Alexa found herself getting out of her seat, as deboarding began. A twinge in her bladder and bowels reminded her that she would need to head to a bathroom. Flight attendants apologized to the passengers as they left, and Alexa felt herself follow Carol, as if by instinct. Taking a seat in the terminal, she breathed a sigh of relief.

"Thank goodness we're on the ground, right Lexi?" Carol said, getting a nod back from the clearly nervous girl. Both sat near each other, getting the notification that a new plane would be boarding hours later, if the storm stopped.
