Embarrassing remarks

“Now, Alice,” Stacey said. “Remember you have to keep these dry everyday or it’s back to diapers.”

Alice blushed and wanted to protest but felt herself stammering instead. Margaret chuckled as Tyler looked up and raised an eyebrow. “Don’t worry,” Tyler said. “My sister had the same problem for awhile.”

“Yeah, but she wasn’t almost out of high school,” Stacey said. “Actually Alice here goes to your school. In fact, I think she’s in your class.”

“Really?” Tyler said. “I didn’t notice.”

Alice blushed and really wanted Stacey to stop. “Luckily she’s finally out of diapers. Can you imagine a senior wearing diapers to class,” Stacey said.

“T-that’s not true!” Alice shouted.

Stacey smirked. “Oh… I know we let you get away with a couple of oopsies, but I didn’t want to embarrass you.”

Alice squirmed. “I stopped wetting the bed when I was 10!” Alice blurted out.

And then her face burned around as the people around her laughed. “Wetting the bed maybe,” Stacey said. “But that doesn’t mean you didn’t have an oopsie in your pants.”

Alice grumbled as Tyler finished scanning the items. “Well if you do need some diapers later on, here’s a coupon. It doesn’t expire for awhile,” Tyler said.

Alice’s eyes widened as Stacey grinned. “Thanks, I’ll hold onto this just in case.”

Alice watched as Stacey finally loaded the bags into the cart. Alice followed Stacey towards the door hoping to be done.
