Chapter 30

Take one of the potions home? which one?
Elixir of Purity
Liandra took the tall potion and left behind a jeweled necklance that carried the royal signet. This, she though, would be enough of a down payment and to identify her.
Liandra clutched the glass bottle, and exited the shop. She roamed the busy streets, but eventually she realized she was lost. Her mind was so heavy she couldnt even find her way home.
"I should just drink this now, and be done with it" And she did, she closed her eyes and brought the bottle to her trembling, and drank it all.
When the princess opened her eyes again, the world didnt feel any different. Everything was just like it was used to. She inhaled the smelly city air. Should she expect to feel any different?
She went back to the castle, and had no trouble being accepted in. She went to the library, a particularly good place to be alone.
"I mildly wonder if you are aware of what you have done" The princess turned around to find a cloaked figure with dark amethyst eyes. She was about to scream, scared, but the figure stepped out of shadows and revealed herself a drow, a woman, and a particularly beautiful one.
"I didnt mean to steal anything!" Liandra squealed, but the drow simply raised her hands, and waved for her to be calm.
"You have worse things to worry about, princess. The bottle you took... do you still have it?" Liandra shook her head "I drank it already" The drow groaned, and turned to leave
"Why? what is wrong?"
"It was meant for another client. I would gladly brew one for you... you drank it?" The drow seemed quite surprised, and when the princess nodded again she explained "The Elixir of Purity is meant to cleanse the soul of the sinful...the drinker becomes a receptacle for the sins of those she touches."
uh-oh. what to do now?
