Elisabeth Brabant

It was a warm day and Elisabeth enjoyed the warm weather of early summer. It was the perfect time to hang out around the city, she had quickly realized and so she spend her free day in the old city center, walking around and trying out new stores. She was studying at the city's huge and old university but at the moment she had something else on mind than her studies. While she had an tea, she had checked her bank account and realized, she was running low on money. Her parents, who were rich and influencal, were sending her some pocket money every month but sometimes it seems to be gone way too quick. Of course, if she would ask, her father would probably raise the amount, but she didn't wanted that.

"Probably time to get myself a small job," she told herself as she got up and walked down the street. A few times she stopped and examined the offerings of clothing stores through their windows before continuing. When she was a few streets further, she noticed a pastry and coffee shop. She stepped closer, reading the menu card. They were selling those bubble tea, which had started to get popular everywhere. And the pastry looked so delicious, she felt the urge to try from every type a bit.

"The Palate's Pleasure coffee and cake," she read the name of the store. Behind the counter, she could spot a woman working. Then she noticed a little sign, next to eh entrance.

"Excuse me?" she said as she stepped inside.

The woman spun around and smiled big at Elisabeth. "How can I help you?"

"I saw that sign at the entrance about the open job position. Is that still valid?"

"Oh yes," the woman said and mustered Elisabeth. "But the job would be at The Palate's Pleasure restaurant and not here. And you would have to work in the evenings."

"Sounds not too bad," Elisabeth said.

"Great," the woman said and searched behind the counter for something. Then she reached Elisabeth a card. "Just call here and they give you an interview."

"Thanks," Elisabeth said and put the card away.

"Otherwise, you want something to drink or eat?"
