Although I haven't used my powers before, I have reasons to believe I'm what my family refers to as a "silvertongue". After all, my mother had demonstrated the use of her magical ability when I was a kid and she accidentally read out Tinkerbell from the book of Peter Pan. And more than anyone in this family, I have a younger brother named Carmine who had mastered the ability to manipulate the reality of fictional objects and even people and mythical creatures. I want to try some of that, maybe find a lover of sort. A fair maiden? A dashing hero? I could maybe aim for both.

I was sitting on my bed, surrounded by books, some borrowed from my brother's room, and others my own. I have decided that I would definitely read to get a magic item, my brother said that a stuttering silvertongue (AKA; a stuttertongue) can damage whatever it is they are trying to pull out of a book, and I didn't want to bring a human into the world horribly deformed or damaged in anyway. My brother has some children books specifically for the magical items that he collects, such as; a magic hat from Frosty The Snowman, magic beans from Jack and The Beanstalk, and of course even a wand from a Harry Potter book, "What kind of silvertongue doesn't have a Harry Potter wand?" he would sometimes say, knowing full well he's the only silvertongue we know who even has a wand.

Among my brother's book collection within my vicinity, there was Hans Christian Andersen Fairy Tales, the title is self explanatory, there's also Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, which might be where my brother got his wand, and of course we can't have a collection of fantasy novels to exploit without a good variety of Disney's Little Golden Books collection. Children fairy tales are a good source of fantasy objects, there are more books here besides these three to choose from.
