Eli and Matt

Day 0

Eli moved quickly up the stairs to the second floor. He wanted to put his luggage away and head to the hot springs as soon as possible. Chloe had told him last night that she had bought a new swimsuit just for the trip and he was eager to see her in it.

Matt was close behind Eli but not in such a big hurry.

“So have any plans with Steph this week?” Eli asked as he slid his card into the door lock. The room looked similar to many hotel rooms that Eli had stayed in before on vacations. Two queen size beds with a bedside table in between them. On top of the bedside table was the room’s phone and a lamp. There was desk in the corner with a lamp set on top. On the opposite side of the room were two dressers and a flat screen television sat on top. On the farthest wall from the door was an armchair and a wide window that looked out over the snow-covered mountains. A door separated the main room from the bathroom. The bathroom had two sinks, a shower, and a toilet with several towels on a shelf.

“I was hoping that we could finally have sex,” Matt replied looking over at Eli.

“You mean you two haven’t yet?” he asked with raised brows.

“Not yet. Steph wanted to wait until the right moment and I’m hoping that it will be this week,” replied Matt tossing his bag next to his bed.

“You want some advice?” Eli asked as he slid his clothes into a few drawers.

“Yes please” Matt stated eagerly.

“Enjoy the week here and don’t let that thought consume you. If it is meant to happen it will,” suggested Eli placing a hand on Matt’s shoulder.

“Thanks that actually really helped” he smiled.

“Now if you’ll excuse me there is a very beautiful woman that is meeting me in the hot springs,” Eli smiled before grabbing his swim trunks.

As Eli closed the door to the room Matt sat down on his bed letting out a loud sigh. “Easy for him to say just let it happen. He has been having sex for the last two years of high school.”
