What does tomorrow bring?

Elara's first quest

You walk into the guildhall just after dawn and are surprised to Elara waiting for you. You had hoped to beat her here to find an easy quest.

"Oh there you are Ty, I was wondering when you'd get here. I'm an early riser normally and frankly I was too excited to sleep so I've been looking at the job board. You mentioned healing yesterday but my skills are more tuned towards smiting the undead and giving you buffs so I think this would be the perfect quest for us!" You are so taken aback by Elara's sudden talkativeness after how stoic she was last night that you hardly get a look at the flyer she thrusts into your hands. If her attitude shocked you this makes you think you're still dreaming. The flyer is advertising a 250 gold reward for slaying a lesser vampire in the abandoned western cemetery. You aren't sure if the prospect of slaying the undead or the dizzying 2500 gold went to her head but before you can protest the borderline suicidal quest she snags the flyer from your hand and rushes to the guild counter. Oh well, playing it safe got you nothing but coppers and disappointment through the years, you might as well try to appear confident in front of the beautiful Elara.

At the guild counter the now bubbly Elara is beaming at you as you sign your name on the contract. The secretary looks hesitantly at you but you manage some impressive swagger as you lay your Guildmaster's Coin on the desk. Giving a low, impressed whistle the secretary hands the contract back to you before you and Elara gather your equipment and get ready to set out. The graveyard is only a day away by foot so you pack two days rations and simple camping gear, hoping that you'll be back tomorrow evening in one piece and much richer. You see Elara also packs light and you offer to carry her burdens as a way to try and win her over and preserve her strength for the task at hand. You see that Elara's traveling outfit is less conservative than what she was wearing last night. A short white skirt shows off her long pale legs, which are more muscular than you thought they would be. Her leather armor top conceals her small chest but leaves her slender arms and midriff visible. You manage to tear your eyes away before Elara catches you staring and head out on the open road.

The day passes more quickly than your usual travels, no doubt in thanks to your lovely companion. Elara definitely seems warmer and more excited now that the realities of going on her first real quest are setting in. Her cold demeanor from the tavern is quickly replaced by a bubbly energy that makes for good conversation early in the day. You discuss her journey to that point and you brag enough that you hope she believes half of the lies you throw in there to make yourself seem less like a loser. You even crack a few jokes that make her laugh in a way that makes you want to melt. However as you near the cemetery her energy shifts to all nerves as you both start to tense up. The sun hangs low above horizon as you reach the outskirts of the cemetery and decide to make camp. You explain that it would be best to attack in the morning when the vampire is asleep and can be brought into the daylight. Elara however insists that she has some spells that can even the odds and that by attacking at night you could catch them by surprise. As you argue you decide to sleep early and wake in the middle of the night after thinking about it to make a decision.

You find a secluded spot to make camp, the remains of a groundskeepers house give you protection from the elements and a small fire pit. As you are setting up your bed roll, you hear a crash and a yelp on the other side of the wall. Fearing the worst you turn the corner and find Elara stripped mid-change standing on a stone outcropping in fear. You are stuck for a moment gawking at her alabaster skin in the evening light, her tight body contorted in fear and her B-cup breasts lightly jiggling as she squirms. You manage to draw your eyes away from her to the rat-sized spider that is crawling around on her bed roll. You quickly throw a dagger at the spider, killing it instantly. Elara gives a squeal as she rushes into your arms thanking you profusely. You stare dumbly at Elara, enjoying her embrace before she remembers her nakedness and hastily grabs her robe: her pale skin a beet red. You clear away the remains of the spider as she finishes dressing. Elara stammers, "thanks for that Ty... the Undead are one thing but I just can't handle spiders. Don't worry about tomorrow, let's just get some sleep." You return to your bedroll suddenly worried for the future, both in terms of this battle and trying to sleep with this hard on.

Whose plan do you follow?
