Abigail Weathers was born with a rare form of albinism. When Abigail was seven years old, Symbio killed her parents, by faking a car accident, and took the young girl to a pocket dimension, where he raised her as his daughter, training her in combat and making her believe Power Girl was a monster that had hunted him.

After fifteen years in that dimension, only a few days had passed on Earth, as was Symbio's plan all along. With Abigail now a young woman, he provided her with some cybernetic enhancements and sent her to Earth. After a few public appearances as Ejecta, she grew a huge fanbase, but Power Girl was suspicious of her after she so violently attacked Omen.
