Eddie's Past

Five years ago, Eddie Michaels was an upcoming, hot-prospect young cocky boy who harbors the potential to be a very dominant heartbreaker. The problem is, Eddie was only talk and not yet achieved his full potential though he has shown flashes of his potential. Eddie was like a caterpillar ready to turn into a butterfly, but still couldn’t find that so-called “Dare to be great” moment. Eddie was full of hype himself but unable to showcase his real talent, that is before he set his eyes on a very beautiful figure of Alexis McQueen.

Alexis McQueen is definitely someone that could fit the beautiful, gorgeous, and attractive and even so far into the “angelic” category. She can easily be royalty. She was truly a sight for sore eyes. Eddie once joked “I’m surprise that no country has picked Alexis to be their queen yet!” Although he was joking, Eddie was telling the truth in what that line really meant and how Alexis is like a sultry princess. Alexis McQueen was beautiful 5 years ago; she’s even more beautiful now.

As corny as it may sound, Alexis’s eyes do grab the most attention. Her luscious green eyes do seem magical and can entrance and hypnotize everyone in her way. However, her gorgeous green-twins are no match for her breath-taking smile. A smile from her alone can light a very dark room and melt a million hearts. Alexis’s long raven hair falls beautifully from her head, complimenting her magnificent package, as if the icing on a very scrumptious cake.

Eddie Michaels remembered the day when he was walking on the school grounds one afternoon, when he stopped in his tracks. In front of him were a group of girls his age, but only one gorgeous figure stood out above the rest. It was as if everything was black and white, and only the girl was in full color. She was giggling and smiling with her friends, in what Eddie saw was moving in slow motion, which in turn, made her even more beautiful. Eddie was rooted to the spot. He was mesmerized.

The group of girls walked pass the seemingly paralyzed figure of Eddie, with his jaw slightly dropped and his eyes full of admiration. Moments passed before he snapped back into reality. Unfortunately, when Eddie was back into reality, so was his cocky-self. He shook his head couple of times to make sure he was back on Earth. All of Eddie’s youthful cockiness then crept through his body, as he grinned evilly before smugly declaring, “She’s mine!”

Eddie Michaels considered himself the next-big-thing in the “Heartbreaking Department” solely on his prized acquisition of the heart of the then most desired girl in school; Stacey Kidd. That made an unknown Eddie’s reputation shot up into the roof. In his cocky eyes, Alexis was just “another victim.” What his cockiness failed to make him see was the fact that Alexis McQueen was not just another “innocent” girl. Alexis was not naïve. She was more powerful than that. The brown-haired young man failed to notice that, and underestimated her, which proved to be costly.

To make a long story short, Eddie got a hold of Alexis’s phone number and in a surprising twist, he got her quite easy. The conceited young man attributed it to his good looks and charm, and the fact that no one could resist him. Again, he underestimated Alexis. In their two months of being together, Alexis has been nothing but sweet and nice to Eddie, while he took her for granted. In his mind, he must be treated like a king, waited on hand and foot. But one day, Eddie Michaels was dropped from cloud nine, the seventh heaven, into the deepest pits of hell when out of the blue Alexis dumped him.

Alexis mentioned that she only used him when they were together, just to teach him a lesson and wipe that arrogant smug of his face. Eddie was crestfallen. As egotistical as he was, he does harbors real feelings for Alexis. But then again, his ego was bigger than his heart, and like every other red-blooded egomaniac male species in the world, he decided to turn his back on his feelings, protect his bruised and battered ego and decided to fight fire with fire. “If a war she wants, a war she will get!” declared a furious Eddie Michaels.

A war broke loose as Eddie retaliated by calling her names, showing how immature he was. Alexis, unfazed, hit back, but her attacks packed more firepower and hurt Eddie more because Alexis was more matured and know exactly how to push Eddie’s buttons. She has, after all done thorough ‘scouting’ of Eddie when they were together. Eddie didn’t really show the pain, but just return the attack like a petty child and the so-called war continued for months. It eventually died down the next year, but the animosity between the two still remained.

Months into their sophomore year, Eddie once again crossed paths with Alexis, accidental mind you. And again, Eddie stopped in his tracks when he saw Alexis. She was as beautiful as he first saw him, but yet there was something different. She was looking more elegant and sophisticated. Eddie smiled adoringly. It was her new glasses. Eddie couldn’t believe how great she looked wearing the spectacles. Eddie now knows how precious Alexis was and is. She’s an angel. She’s a royal princess. She’s an “Angelic Princess.”

Eddie was restless that night. He was truly captivated by her beauty. His ego was long gone, as Maureen already abolished that. Even his close friend Michelle already mentioned that he was more matured than he was the previous year. He really thought that he could do better and recuperate his past mistakes. Without thinking carefully, Eddie ill advisedly called Alexis, much to her surprise. Eddie told her that he has grown and want her back. He really wanted to prove his worth to her. But again, Eddie underestimated Alexis’s supremacy

Alexis had no intention of getting back together with her former beau. She had other plans for herself. Better plans. But then again, as much as Eddie exasperated her, she was still a lady. She told him that she would think about it, just to be fair to him, even though the answer was clear. Eddie was devastated, he knew the answer straight away, but he just smiled through his pain and didn’t attack her. Eddie really showed his mettle by trying to be mature. Ever since then Alexis had always hold a special place in his heart. A soft spot. Very soft.
