Ed returns from his trip

Holly met Ed at the airport upon his return and squealed in excitement at seeing her strapping son, she gave him a huge hug before covering him in kisses. Her son, her baby boy had finally returned to her, she openly weeped with joy as her child was safely in her loving arms. She couldn't help but think how much he'd changed, he seemed bigger, both taller and broader, he had a healthy tan, an aura of confidence, a radiance of vitality he'd never had before but maybe those were just what he looked like through a loving mothers eyes. Ed fought back tears as he was just as happy to see his mom and hugged her back just as ferociously.

Once mother and son had calmed down from their joy at being reunited Holly drove them back home to the cul de sac where he had grown up.

Ed found himself outside his childhood home. Nothing had changed except the way he perceive it. He had hoped that everything had changed just as he felt he had in himself but the familiarity was comforting. He was Home.
