Ed once again finds refuge at Mason's house

Ed picked up his bags and decided to try Mason's house rather than call Cory back.

He could have gone to Preeti's house but there was a chance her husband was home and he would ask questions why Ed had chosen to go there. He could have gone to Nyomi's but he hadn't seen much of her and Jamal might be at home. Nikki and Jasmine didn't seem like an option.

As he headed out he reflected that those of us who don't learn from the past are doomed to repeat it. Was returning to Mason's home as he had done on the night of his party a mere month ago a repeat of history or the opportunity to redeem himself and chart a different course.

Previously he might have been tempted to take a detour to check on Jasmine skinny dipping but he was too focused on reaching an ally. Annoyed at the outcome of the police intervention Ed strode with purpose to his friend Manolo's home. He knew Manolo was back at college but Ed was certain his friends Latina mom would let him stay at least the night until he could try to get hold of a lawyer the next day.

Some lights were on in the house, Ed knocked on Mason's door and waited to see if there would be a response.
