Ed cooks Cory a meal*

Ed slumped as the adrenaline of the last few hours wore off . He searched through the kitchen and found some basic but fresh ingredients along with some ice cream. Deciding he was hungry and wanting to thank Cory for her continued kindness Ed started to prepare a vegetarian pad thai which he'd learned how to make on his travels.

He checked his phone while he cooked and had received a couple of messages. One was from an unknown number which read "Congratulations on an excellent first day. I hope it's the first of many and we have all have a great time together. Ava XXX"
Ed replied back "If you give me a chance I know we'll be great together, Ed XXX"

Manolo had sent him some funny videos which made Ed laugh.

Another message had been received from Shauna which simply read "Sorry". Ed didn't bother to reply.

Ed called Cory when the food was ready. She thanked him for taking the initiative and opened a bottle of wine for them which Ed hadn't found. The meal was pleasant and they both relaxed at each others familiar company.

After dinner they still felt buzzed and Ed did the dishes while Cory returned to her tidying. Ed checked his phone and found a reply from Ava stating "I expect BIG things from you in future wink"
Ed replied back "I'm sure you'll be satisfied with the big things I can do for you."
