Naruto walked over to Hinata and kissed her softly as he sat down. “Here,” she said has she reached into the basket and pulled out two sandwiches. “I made you this. I thought it was the least I could do for…” she cut off with here face very red.

“Thanks,” Naruto said blushing himself. “I’m the one who should be thanking you.”

They ate in silence, both too embarrassed to speak. After awhile, Naruto looked up and said, “How are you feeling?” Hinata looked up, face still crimson, and said, “A little sore, but fine…” Silence continued. After awhile, Hinata spoke, “I’m not sure what came over me back there. But still… I’m happy it happened. You were wonderful, Naruto-kun.”
Naruto looked up and said, “I love you, Hinata-chan.”

Hinata looked into Naruto’s eyes. She couldn’t believe that her crush, the one she loved was right here, with her, telling her that he loved her. It was better than any fantasy she could have ever dreamed. “I love you too, Naruto-kun,” she said. They held each other as they kissed passionately. As their lips parted again, there tongues played in and out of each other’s mouths.

~Good, good, now remove her jacket.~

Just as Naruto’s hand reached up to the zipped of Hinata’s jacket, a thought occurred to him.

‘Wait, we’ve got to get back to the academy to meet our jonin! We’ve got to leave.’
