Earth became Nexus

After the gates and portals opened for some reason in the beginning only few people could travel through the gates at a time thus some dialogue was made between the worlds some were nearly as friendly as others but they were able to establish enough connections with some powerful worlds to protect them due to the fact that Earth was the only world that these Gates had appeared on. Overtime though the gates let more and more through apocalyptic worlds started to monsters and other creatures through that's the government's established various organizations across the world to combat these threats namely using people who had gotten powers

Thanks to opinions from some of the other worlds and a unanimous agreement from the world leaders Earth name was now changed to Nexus. Nexus became a gathering point for various things such as knowledge trade technology and culture no not everything was so good as slavery came back into being a thing for the for the lower class worlds

It feels like something's missing from this chapter any suggestions

In someone's honest opinion should I take this whole crossover world and make it separate book for it cuz I honestly don't know if it fits in with the whole Multiverse of race play idea
