Chapter 2 by Cross C Cross C

What world was converted?

Earth (Mass Effect)

The Hermpire ring arrived on Earth in 2012.

The conversion of the entire population was completed in six months. There were wars but the United States was the location of the ring's arrival and a supremely intelligent and well placed Hermpire Queen meant the hegemonic power was almost entirely converted before any true military was martialed against it. The strongest economy and military in the world combined with a rapid ability to convert enemies into fanatical allies meant there was little hope. Millions died and seven nukes were detonated but in the end the result was inevitable.

Humanity was united as Hermpires under their Hermpire Queen.

For the next century, humanity expanded into space at an accelerated rate as their were no rival nation-states and internecine warfare. In 2140, the Prothean ruins were discovered on Mars and translation leads the hermpires to the Charon mass relay. Thanks to this monumental discovery, the Hermpire Empire swiftly expanded into interstellar space, creating a plethora of new colonies. In 2155, hermpire explorers encounter the Turians who attack immediately. With hermpire resources stretched thin, the Turians defeat several fleets and even lay orbital siege to a colony world. However, the tides began to turn as Turians are captured and prove to be easily converted into hermpires despite their alien physiology.

The result was a hermpire every bit as devoted to the Hermpire Queen as any human. A Turian hermpire had all the exaggerated sexual features of a human rather than that of a typical Turian female and male, meaning that they looked like a human-turian hybrid. Their feminine faces have less developed plates mostly upon their foreheads and cheeks while their nose, eyes, and lips are nearly wholly human in appearance though their skin has a decidedly rough appearance. The Turian hermpire's body maintains its starkly different shape but its decidedly more rounded in places, particularly the hips and rear. They are still incredibly thin, their slenderness a sharp contrast with their suitably outsized breasts. They have no nipples but the entire expanse of their breasts are as erogenous as a human hermpire's nipples would be. Their massive cocks are housed within a thick sheath when not erect, much like a horse and indeed they share the equine asymmetric shape to their phallus as opposed to the human configuration.

The capture and conversion of individual Turians soon led to the transformation of entire ship's companies. These new hermpires happily divulged strategic and technological knowledge. They were instrumental in humanity's counterattack. Turian ships filled full of fanatical Turian hermpires loyal to their new Queen traveled to every major Turian world with one goal in mind: total conversion.

The First Contact War was a triumphant introduction for hermpire humanity on the galactic stage. When the Citadel finally stepped in and brokered a peace treaty, a full third of the Turian population were Hermpires loyal to the Hermpire Queen.

The Hermpire Empire was a galactic society not to be trifled with. One that could not be ignored or brushed aside. They were respected and feared for over the decades individuals of every interstellar race were proven able to be converted into loyal hermpires. An uneasy peace, one always just this side of a cold war, existed between the Empire and the races of the Citadel. One enforced by a self defense treaty signed by all races that should the hermpires begin converting in mass, all races would unite to exterminate them. The Empire reserved the right to convert any individual who attacked a hermpire and the Citadel races grudgingly accepted it.

This was the reason why Batarians were the second most populous non-human hermpires within the empire.

An attempt at cooling the tensions between the two polities would be the elevation of the first human hermpire to the Spectres, an elite group tasked with preserving galactic stability by any means necessary.

That is this story....
