Earth, 2022

The world is different, different countries, different ideals and different customs.

This story takes place withing the United States of Africa.

During the discovery of the New World, many European kingdoms began to invest large amounts of money into discovering and claiming as much of it as they could. England instead focused of expanding it's empire throughout Africa. Soon all of Africa was under English rule and from there things progress similarly to the history of our America's formation.

The new countries in this world are;

-The United States of Africa - Similar in method and attitude to our world's USA

-Greater Brazilian Kingdom - Spans from Colombia down to the tip of South America

-El Dorado - Includes Mexico and the south-western portion of North America

-The Sioux Nation - Central and Eastern of North America

-Quebec - All of Canada, ruled over by France

While only a few years ahead of our own timeline, this Earth is more technologically advanced. Currently there are two permanent cities on the moon and one in the beginning on Mars, space travel has been optimized to the point where relatively short trips in space are no more dangerous than flying from England to France. Medical science has advanced quickly from the creation of penicillin, the aging process has stopped leaving more elderly looking and feeling spry as well as the first generation of people who are expected to live into their second century.

Not all things are better though, Horizon left the humans with a naturally increased lifespan, which, combined with an increase of libido, has resulted in a much larger population and the every shrinking amount of fossil fuels has only just become aware to the public.
