Containment Procedures: ENF-047 is to be kept in solitary confinement in a maximum security holding cell under 24/7 observation. Any anomaly in her behaviour, no matter how slight, is to be reported immediately to the Artemis containment team. She is to be allowed to have any form of entertainment she asks for, within reason, as long as it can be gotten into her cell without violating security procedures.

No passage into ENF-047's cell is to be left open, even for a second. All communication with ENF-047 is to be done via an airlock system, so there is always at least one solidly locked door between her and the outside world. Foundation staff are asked to take great care in entering ENF-047's cell, and expected to be conscious of the risks.

Description: ENF-047 is a small, slender woman of apparent Mediterranean origin, with a round face and startling green eyes that don't seem to match her nut-brown complexion. She is highly intelligent, with a keen sense of humor and an extraordinary knowledge of scientific, philosophical and political topics. She is quite happy to engage Foundation staff in conversation, and even to assist in research on any topic save her own abilities. She claims to be over five thousand years old, and some evidence in support of this thesis has been discovered in certain Mycenaean tombs not yet known to the general public.

She is capable of, in her own words, "standing outside the flow of time." She describes this as effectively putting the rest of the universe on pause, enabling her to manipulate frozen objects at her leisure, without the possibility of resistance. She will not explain how or where she acquired this ability, even under the Foundation's normal methods for interrogating recalcitrant female subjects. Her full powers are as yet unknown.

She came to the Foundation's attention in the summer of 2014, after an enigmatic incident in which an entire ballerina troupe in Montreal found themselves mysteriously deprived of their leotards halfway through a performance of Swan Lake. She was finally captured in 2021 on the Greek island of Naxos by security officer Carol Song, using total stealth and a fast-acting tranquilizer rifle. Though every single article of women's clothing on the island had already been destroyed, the mission was deemed a complete success.

Addendum 047-01: I know she's fascinating, but please be careful if you're going to spend time in ENF-047's cell. She can stop time at will and she's had centuries to get good at it. When you leave, check you have everything you came in with. She doesn't need any more researcher panties to add to her collection.

Addendum 047-02: There's nothing to be concerned about. It's impossible for ENF-047 to get out of her cell. What is she going to do, build some kind of electronic lock-hacking device out of her Playstation? Anyway, if she could leave whenever she wanted, why would she stay? You're just being paranoid, Carol.

Addendum 047-03: We've reviewed the tapes and found nothing to worry about. It's true that you've been getting spontaneously undressed a lot recently. It's also true that nobody knows how you wound up in an interrogation room, legs spread, mouth crammed with researcher panties, strapped down to one of Dr. Blithe's patented tickle-**** machines with all the settings turned up to maximum and cameras set to upload your ordeal to the web. But there's plenty of other explanations.

Addendum 047-04: She's not laughing at you, Carol. She just likes to laugh. Anyway, what do you want us to do? We have to keep her here until we've found some way to neutralize her powers so we can forget about her. It's in the name of the Foundation.

Addendum 047-05: For goodness' sake, Carol. So you were suspended from the rafters of the Paris Opera on opening night with your breasts painted pink and a bouquet of wildflowers stuck up your [REDACTED]. Do you really think ENF-047 has nothing better to do than carry you across an entire time-frozen ocean? Do you think time literally means nothing to her? And you're at the mercy of an infinitely patient, almost omnipotent being whose favorite hobby is your humiliation?

Addendum 047-06: Well, I don't know what you were trying to achieve. Of course if you get into ENF-047's cell she's just going to strip you naked, tie you up with your own underwear, put you over her knee and spank your bare bottom until you beg for mercy and promise to be her pet forever. You have only yourself to blame.
