During a Mission in the Dark Hour.

Strange and mysterious things have been happening on Gekkoukan High, for ever since some time, ocurring once a month, when the moon shines at it's strongest, the time known as the dark hour appears, a dreaded time where the shadows come out of the dark to roam the living world, haunted structures manifest themselves out of thin air, people turn into living coffins, and the Apathy syndrom spreads rampant, turning those affected from it into nothing more but emotionless meat puppets, incapable of performing even the most basic of living fuctions by themselves.

Things would have been much more worse for the world, if it hadn't been for the timely intervention of S.E.E.S, a special group dedicated to battling the shadows, lead by Mitsuru Kirijo herself, and her most trusted of teammates, who for the last months, have done much to prevent the dark hour from causing further catastrophes.

Right now, she and some of her teammates have been sent to the Paulownia mall, on a mission to eliminate and contain the stray shadows and daemons of the area from casuing damages as the dark hour approaches, however, while this would seem to be just another easy mission for the experienced members of S.E.E.S, the truth is that the shadows of the area have possession of some rather special powers of their own, powers that, rather than be decicated to kill, are oriented towards something more perversed in mind.
