Duke Thomas, aka The Signal

Duke Thomas was a gifted detective and skilled martial artist. After assisting Batman during the "Zero Year" event and later being caught up in the events of the "We Are Robin" movement, he was eventually offered a place in the Bat Family. Instead of becoming another Robin, Duke took on the mantle of The Signal.

As The Signal, Duke operated primarily during daylight hours, distinguishing himself from the nocturnal activities of Batman and other members of the Bat Family. He also possessed metahuman abilities that granted him enhanced vision and light manipulation powers, which were particularly useful for his daytime operations.
