Drum Beats And Dresses...

Enola woke to the sound of a drum-beat thrumming across the water...

She listened intently to the thrumming tattoo of the oresmans drum and recognized the signal encoded into it, this was a diplomatic mission from one of the vassal atolls, probably bringing councilors for a meeting with the archipelago government.

Enola yawned and climbed out of bed, then realized something was different about the hut, there were a set of palm frond baggs with all her clothes and things from her mother's house stacked against one wall, which meant someone had come in here while she slept...

That was a touch allarming, but it was probably just her mother and nothing untward appeared to have happened, so she put it from her mind.

Enola was seen as a bearer of good luck by the people of the archapelago, so she was asked to open the council meetings, thus she changed into fresh clothes and headed for the councle hall...
