Drek and you share your adventures

Drek: As you know, I traveled to Naboo. My planet is a lot different to Ranvi's, it is a big green and blue ball basically!

Lana: Perfect description of your world, just as anybody expected it from you!

Drek: Khm... Alright, we have a mild climate, big forests, bigger oceans... The oceans are inhabited by the gungans, a strange kind of creatures, I am not really fond of... My people live on the landmass, in mostly big cities. Happy now?

Ranvi: Absolutely, especially that we knew all this since we had to learn a lot about the battle of Naboo and the separatist breakaway!

Drek: Oh, yes really...! Than why did you want me to ell you all of this?

Lana: I just wanted to hear how you would characterize your home!

Drek: Well, whatever... I don't know if I have ever told you about it or not, but my family is one of the wealthiest families on Naboo and...

Ranvi: Really?! Of course you have never told us about it!

Lana: How could you keep such a thing a secret?!

Drek: It's not that much of a thing really... And there were signs! What do you think, how could I buy all my technological stuff?! Those were expensive as hell!

Lana: As if we knew the prices of your stuff...

Drek: Well, now you know. Back to the mission... I met my family in our palace and...

Ranvi: By the fore, you have a palace?!

Lana: Drek is that for real?! You are a prince or something?!

Drek: No, I am no royalty, my family is just wealthy, that is all! So, as I entered the castle, the servants provided me all the things I have just asked for. I could eat all sorts of things, anything I just wanted to! Something you would never see in the Jedi temple cantina!

Lana: Good point!

Drek: After I have taken care of my nutrient needs...

Ranvi: I have honestly never heard anybody call eating that way...!

Drek: So... after I have EATEN, my parents arrived from a business meeting. They were happy to see me again, they have invited all the other families to celebrate my return and my knighthood.

Lana: Drek, this is great! Why aren't you more enthusiastic about it?

Drek: It is quite simple really... Because they reminded me of my previously made engagement and that I should finally meet my soon to be wife...

Lana: WHAT?!

Ranvi: Wait, hold on, let me get this straight... You are engaged?!

Drek: Yes, my parents had it arranged while I was still with them... I didn't have a say into any of it, they have just decided that it would benefit the family more than any other marriage... And as they knew I was going to be taken to the special force of the order, having a marriage was going to be allowed for me... So they acted and arranged it with an other family.

Lana: And who is your soon to be wife?

Drek: You don't know her anyway, even I haven't met her yet!

Ranvi: And I guess you aren't looking forward to your marriage, are you...?

Drek: No, not at all... But I have responsibilities and I can't postpone them any longer, as I am no longer bound to master Jereli... So I will have to face this sooner or later.

Lana: I hope it will work out well Drek...

Ranvi: Me too... Do you have any similar secrets that you haven't shared with us so far?! Like... I don't know... Master Yoda is your uncle or something?!

Drek: No, that is all! I just didn't want to bother you with these, and...

Lana: Drek, we have been training together for about 15 years now! You could have had time to talk about these things!

Drek: Alright, forgive me for keeping this from you for so long, but now you both know it all, right?

Ranvi: Yes...

Lana: Yes, but you could have told us earlier!

Drek: And what about you Lana? How was your mission to meet your parents? Oh, sorry... Your father... I have forgotten...

Ranvi: Okay, I guess we have had our fair share of surprises from Drek's story already...!

Lana: You know, Mandalorians have always been a warlike people... Mandalore's current rule is a pacifist duchess now... Those who are not in line with her ways, were exiled. There is a group of Mandalorians who want to overthrow her and restore the old ways again, they are called the Death Watch... This is a terrorist group, who commits assassinations, bombings and similar things to show the weakness of the duchess...

Drek: Yes, where is the part we are expected to be surprised about?

Lana: My father is a member of Death Watch...

Ranvi: WHAT?! Your father is a terrorist?!

Drek: Okay, now I have that part! All I can say is the same... WHAT?!

Lana: Well, kind of... I don't know what acts he has committed... But I fear nothing peaceful...

Ranvi: Lana that is... I don't even know what to say...!

Drek: I do! Lana...

Lana: ... and my mother way a member too...

Drek: Correction... I don't know what to say either...

Ranvi: Lana your background seems... complicated...

Drek: It was a very diplomatic way to express both her parents are or were members of a terrorist group!

Lana: Thank you Drek, I still prefer Ranvi's way of calling it...

Ranvi: I am sorry Lana... How was your father reacting to your return?

Lana: He was happy for me! As you can see, I have received my mother's armour as a sing of being on of that group...

Drek: So you are a member of Death Watch now?!

Ranvi: Do you plan to continue the family business?!

Lana: No! Or... I don't know...! I understand what they are fighting for, I have talked a lot with my father before I met him again in person... They fight to restore their lost traditions, that is all... They are just doing it with the wrong means I think...

Ranvi: Lana, you don't have to follow in their footsteps if you don't want to! The choice is yours!

Lana: I guess so... But my father has such hopes for me!

Drek: How did the other Death Watch members react to your arrival?

Lana (thinking): I can't tell them what happened...! What would they think of me?! {if Naked on trial = true}Ranvi has even learnt of my naked streaking in the temple, she shouldn't know of this mishap too!{endif}

Lana (lying): Ehm... They were "welcoming"... In a way...

Ranvi: At least they didn't try to kill you for being a Jedi!

Lana: Yeah, at least... not for that...

Drek: "Not for that"? What do you mean?!

Lana: I...

Jereli opened the door.

Jereli: We will jump out of hyperspace in seconds. I want you to be ready and watch out for anything suspicious during our stay. This is a very delicate mission, we will not be taking part in it directly, but I have a special plan for you. I will tell you of it once we have landed! And Lana... Take on your Jedi robes, you won't be needing your armour for this one.
