while looking through the Shop he stumbled upon an orb called the perfect core and asked the shopowner what this was, who told him about the Bakugan world and Vestroia.

when Ash asked " What is it doing here?" the shopowner replied, "This is just a replica, I got it from a collector. But if someone holds it against their chest, it will transform them into Drago, the legendary dragon bakugan."
