Background/History
David is the only son of a loving lower upper class family from suburban Connecticut. Educated in private schools and he then earned a BS in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale, a MD from Harvard, and a MPhil in the impact of the Reformation on medical practices in Early Modern England from Oxford. Though certainly privileged in his upbringing David's parents instilled in him the old Yankee belief that with blessings comes responsibility. David has striven hard to give back to society, including volunteering each summer to at various inner city clinics. He is also President of the Board of Trustees for the Metropolis Athenaeum for Fine Art.
Besides training occasionally in martial arts (Aikido & Iaido) David's current main hobbies are hiking and photography (which he posts on his instagram page). He played a little basketball in high school and loves baseball and has collected baseball cards, but that is mostly in the past. David has some musical talent, but has never liked performing. As a child he was taught the piano and sung in the church choir and in college was a member of the Whiffenpoofs (the Yale a cappella group). In junior high & high school he played Dungeon & Dragons and Warcraft. Though not a major geek, he does occasionally play Warcraft, rents sword & sorcery movies, and secretly reads Red Sonja comics online.

Personality
David is a friendly, decent, good nature guy with a skilled bed-side manner. He is overall conservative in manner, thought and action. Humble and caring by nature, it takes a lot to anger him. Though there is an innocents to him, he is not naive. He is no wimp, however, possessing a strong will and is courageous. Imagine if Steve Rogers (Captain America) was of slightly above average build, never took the super-serum and became a doctor. David does have a habit of over analyzing and over thinking things, and has a slight fear of heights.

David is more physically attractive than he realizes, though is certainly no male model. He dresses on the conservative side in an appropriate way, neither in or out of step with the current fashion trends.

Health
In good shape for his age David works out several times a week (running, stretching, light weight training, martial art classes, etc.) He does need reading glasses, especially when tired.

Sexuality
David has only had sex with one woman, his wife Jane, whom he met in college, and who past away two years ago from cancer. They had a very loving marriage, though Jane was on the more vanilla/conservative side when it came to eroticism. Since it has been over 3 years since he has had sex David has started to use a bit more porn, though minimal by today's standards, he is concerned about it, especially considering his increased interest in more fetish oriented material (big breasts, strip poker, spanking, light bondage, sword & sorcery fantasies, etc.)
