You decide that the well tread path would be safest. It couldn't be too hard to get through the area if it seemed to be used often.

As you make your way down the path, you can smell a rotten, fishy smell and a sour, vinegary smell... You grab your sword, prepared to put it to use if you encountered anything.

Up ahead, you came across two Monster Girls having an argument! One seemed to be a kind of scylla, with long yellow tentacles for both a lower body and hair, dripping with stinky slime. The other was an Arachne it seemed.

Neither noticed you yet, giving you an opportunity... You could try sneaking around them, or going back around? Or heck, even use your chance to charge in and catch them off guard!
