Down into the darkness

The problem was, if the tongue woman demonstrated a higher intelligence, so could the one below, or any he didn’t see. As a hunter it was important, to only take shots, that wouldn’t reveal him self, or would make being revealed moot. While the mass zombies may not notice, the more intelligent ones might.

That meant that he was going to have to go down into the alleys and play cat and mouse, with whatever was down there. Not a pleasant thought. Even more of a question, with a docile female zombie in tow, would she slow him down, or prove useful?

Zack shrugged, and moved toward the fire escape. It occurred to him as he prepared to descend back down, that he could send the girl first. As a sort of decoy. While it was true, that it would put her in harms way, there was no way of knowing, if the zombies would attack one another. More over, better her then him right?
