You logged out of the adoption center, and loaded up your own room. This was a cool feature of the program where the environment was the very room you stood in in real life, but yourself and any npc could move around and interact like you were actually there in real time. You see on your sofa Mika and Sika, laying seductively cuddling each other, not yet paying you any attention.
