Double check this world (Explore the house)

Though he was sure that this was truly his old world and life, it had been a long time since he had lived it. A quick glance at his phone told him it was just after 3am, so his family should all be asleep. At the very least, he should check out and re-familiarize himself with his surroundings, otherwise his family might start to ask questions.

Evan went and opened his door softly, stepping out into the hallway beyond. It's probably safest to start with all the main living areas and if it seemed necessary, check on his family's bedrooms last, he decided. He tiptoed down the hall and headed downstairs to the kitchen and living room.

The kitchen was fairly standard, though a glance in the fridge reminded him that even though he had no allergies, he used to hate eggs. That was definitely not the case anymore, but a good thing to remember. In Aecardia, he had eaten anything to get by, wild game and even rats and other awful things. He had also had extravagant banquets and delicacies, so he wasn't super picky at this point.

The living room was more eye opening. Family photos sat atop the fireplace, and he stared for a long time at the pictures there.
