Double Trouble

Supergirl couldn't help but let out a sigh with her frost breath. Obviously she wasn't going to let a fire rage in her city but she was missing her english final for this.

"Alright fire's out..." Kara spoke to herself as she looked at the warehouse with her x-ray vision and found someone.

Without a second thought the girl of steel flew through a hole in the building and towards the old woman who was pinned under a collapsed beam.

It was child's play for Kara to lift it.

"Can you crawl out ma'am?"

"Yes...oh yes thank you"

Once the old woman crawled out and turned over, Kara noticed her necklace. It was so shiny and...green.

In an instant all of the girl of steel's world shattering strength was gone and she found herself pinned under the beam.

"Ha ha ha that was too easy"

The old woman tgrew the kryptonite necklace away and put her hand over Kara's face and seemed to morph into...Supergirl?!

"W-What...?" Kara questioned while coughing on smoke

"Your reign of tyranny ends here Copycat!" Supergirl? proudly declared with her fists on her hips

In the remains of a shattered window Kara could see herself. She now had short black hair, brown eyes, freckles. What was going on?

The false girl of steel lifted the beam off of Kara and pulled her out, sending the former blonde flying into the wall. All the air in Kara left her as she made an impact.

Adreneline coursing through her veins, the girl of steel flew at her imposter and made impact with her fist on the woman's face.

But no. That had not happened. Instead the heroine fell flat on her face.

"What...what did you do to me?!" Kara weakly panicked

"Why I've defeated you, vile villain"

Supergirl? grabbed Copycat? by her black locks and took flight.

The kryptonian let out a scream of fright, feeling the sharp wind, the lack of control, the burning in her eyes, and eventually the lack of air in her lungs as they went higher and higher and higher.

The last thought on Kara's mind was "Am I going to die..."

"Wakey wakey criminal scum"

Kara scrunched her eyes before opening them to the harsh light and saw herself standing over her with a wicked smirk.

The ravenette launched herself at her wicked reflection but got no further than one inch before she was brought back down. She could not move her head much but could see bandages wrapped around her body from neck to toe and tape pinning her down to the box she was in, going from one side of the floor, over her body, and down on the other side.

"Thanks for being such a dummy by the way. Now I got a job to go get something from your little clubhouse but don't worry you're coming with me. Eventually. Don't worry I'll give you your identity back when I'm done...or maybe later. Flying is fun right? Oh and before I forget"

The kryptonite necklace was dropping into the crate, making Copycat? recoil and try to squirm awag

"Just in case you manage to become yourself before I'm done. Tata"

Abd with that the crate was sealed and Supergirl? flew off to the Hall of Justice
