Double Date Plans

Claire groaned as she followed her sister to their room and said, “Carla, I’m sick of having to go along with you for these dates. I’m not interested for the last time…”

Carla cut her sister’s thought off, “C’mon, Claire Bear! Travis is super cute and he has a single friend that is VERY interested in you. Plus, our thing has always been double dates. We are the Espinoza Twins after all and we can’t fall short of the expectations.”

Claire sighed and looked at her twin wondering how two twins could look like they aren’t even related. Carla was everything Claire wasn’t and she shined so bright that she couldn’t help but feel like an insignificant bug next to her. Claire didn’t try to check out her sister but living in the same room allowed her to check out Carla’s body whenever she was changing or coming back from a shower.

Most guys just wanted to be around Carla in hopes to catch a glimpse of her rather than get to know Claire. Claire was fine with this but at the same time she hated that her sister actually thought Claire was enjoying herself on these dates. Claire was a nerdy girl that preferred nights in and would rather be watching anime or enjoying video games. Carla had this obsession of being the Espinoza Twins even though it was really just the Carla Espinoza Show and…Claire. Claire finally gave in after Carla did one of her infinite repeats of the word please until she got it her way.

Claire impatiently said, “Fine, Carla. You can have it your way like always. I would rather just enjoy my Friday night…alone with the new game I just bought.”

Carla deflected and said, “Actually, it’s our way, sis. We have a reputation to uphold since people expect the two of us. The Espinoza twins back together again for some Friday night fun.”

Claire hated being lumped together with her because Carla was too mystified by the concept to realize she is the only component of the twins that works. Claire got dressed in a graphic tee with her favorite anime character and jeans while Carla was wearing a mini skirt that showed off her toned and tanned legs. Her top was a cropped tank top with spaghetti straps that showed off her cleavage and flat tummy.

Carla like always chastised Claire for her wardrobe, “You gotta give your date something to look at, sis. Otherwise, there won’t be a second date. I can lend you something to allow you to be a bit more feminine. ”

Claire sighed even more heavily and said, “First off, I will not fit into any of your clothes, Carla. We are on completely different ends of the spectrum with our bodies. Secondly, I really don’t care about showing off my “feminine charms” to my mystery date. Lastly, Let’s just get a move on and get this over with already.”

The two sisters hopped into Carla’s car and made their way to the movie theater. Unbeknownst to Claire, but her whole life was going to change that night.
