Double Date - Part 1

While part of the group went to the winning party, the others went on a double date.

The two couples decided they wanted to play some mini golf before going to eat something.

"Yes!" Willow jumped happily as she managed to get into the hole for the first time.

"Nice hit," Ben smiled.

"I am going to beat you tonight," Willow told him with a fierce voice.

"Try your best," he grinned back.

Meanwhile, Kai's hands were around Mila, trying to teach her how to use her golf club right.

"Yes, like this, and... now," Kai told her.

Mila saw the ball rolling and stop far from the hole.

"It wasn't good," she looked at Kai with sadness.

"It was a great first try," Kai said with a big smile.

Mila was really good at golf when she played on her phone; real-life golf was harder for her.

"You did great, girl!" Willow said, hugging her friend.

Willow was really happy she managed to make Mila accept the double date.

"Glad we finally hang out, not at school," Ben told Kai.

"Between everything going on, it became so hard. The tournament takes all my time and power," Kai said.

"He is near, right?" Ben asked.

"Yep, in 4 days. Today was my day off," Kai nodded.

"Glad you took one," Ben said and patted his shoulder.

"You are doing great, don't worry," Willow told her friend.

"No, I am not. I barely manage to hit the ball alone," Mila said.

"You are sure that's not because you want Kai all over you?" Willow teased, which made Mila change colors.

"Nnnnoooo," Mila said, stuttering.

"You can want both," Willow told her, which made Mila feel better.

"Excited for tonight?" Willow asked.

"Are you sure that's okay, not talking with them before?" Mila asked, worried.

"Don't worry, leave it up to me," Willow laughed, and then shouted, "Guys! Another round! I need to beat you today!"

The game continued with them enjoying themselves and laughing.

"How are you?" Ben asked Mila, trying to make conversation.

Willow had talked with him about Mila a little bit, which made him realize he didn't really know Mila too well, although being part of the same tight group for a long time, which made him feel weird, so this double date was a good opportunity to maybe work on it.

"I am good," Mila just said, as she didn't really know what to say.

Ben really didn't know what to say either. He realized how much he didn't know Mila at all.

"How are things with Kai?" he asked, trying to make conversation.

"I am really happy," she smiled beautifully.

Mila was a very pretty girl, which sometimes was eclipsed because of her friends.

That made the two talk about their relationships together, when Mila said something that made him stop the conversation for a second.

He looked for Kai, who played against Willow now. Both looked at each other like this golf game could decide their future, which made Ben laugh, but he needed him for something else.

"How come you didn't tell us that Mila also plays? You know we are looking for a sixth party member!" Ben told him.

They were still planning the same MMO, and they never found a sixth member, and it turns out that last one was hidden in plain sight.

"Mila was too shy to play with all of you," Kai told him. "And don't bother me now! I need to win this," Kai said seriously. The closing competition awakened his competitive side.

"In your dreams!" Willow glared at him.

"Why did you feel shy joining us?" Ben asked. Sure, they weren't close, but still hung out together all the time.

"I never really talked with any of you alone, and that felt like a boy club," Mila told him, feeling a little less shy.

"Well, now we talk, and we will work on that. What do you think?" Ben asked her.

"Okay," Mila just said. She still felt the awkwardness, but even both trying made her feel better.

"By the way, Willow told me about the D&D idea. I am down for something like that," Ben remembered that Willow brought it up.

"Really?! You played before?" Mila's eyes went open with excitement.

"No, but I do watch Legends Roll campaign," he told her.

Legends Roll was the biggest D&D content channel at Chatter.

"Oh, nice, I love them," Mila then started to talk with him about it. Turns out she was a regular player, but she did that with an online friends group, as she didn't know anyone at Seaside who was into it.

"I know Willow brought it up to you, but Rachel is into this. She hosts one-shot nights at our house once in a while," Ben said.

"Awesome!" Mila said.

While Ben and Mila were at their own D&D conversation, Willow was at her final shot. She breathed slowly, positioned her golf club, and hit the ball, which rolled straight into the hole.

"Yessss!" Willow shouted, celebrating her win.

"Niceeeee," Kai said. He was sad he lost, but that's part of life.

"Even in the face of your crushing defeat, you are still chill," Willow laughed.

"You are more competitive than me. Besides, it is just a loss, not a crushing wave," Kai told her.

"Because winning is fun," Willow smiled.

"Indeed," he agreed with her. He was still getting used to the fire inside of him that wanted the win.

"Ben probably brought up D&D to her," Willow told him, looking at her boyfriend and her friend.

"Probably. She is really excited about that since you two talked," Kai smiled.

"Then it is time to start things going. With Rachel, she will need time until everything is ready," Willow told him seriously.

"Good, she will be really happy about it," Kai said, looking at his girlfriend with care.

"You really care about her. I am so happy for you guys," Willow told him.

"Thanks. And what did you two plan for tonight?" Kai changed the topic and asked.

"You will find out tonight, but you can guess alone too," Willow smirked.

"I have some ideas, and I trust Mila. You right now? Not so much," Kai laughed.

"Ben!! Your friend is a bully," Willow shouted to her boyfriend with a fake complaint.

"You probably deserve that," Ben laughed at her.

This made the group laugh as they continued to play a little more.

"Food?" Ben asked everyone.

"Food," Kai nodded.

"Pizza?" Willow proposed.

"Yes!" Mila said excitedly, and the group left to eat.

They arrived at the pizza place, ordered, and went to Ben's place to continue their night.

Ben and Kai didn't know what was planned, but they just came along. They cared more about hanging out than the where.

After they finished eating and talked some more, Ben looked at his redhead girlfriend. "So, want to tell us your big plan?"

"I promised Mila she can watch," Willow told him.

"Kai is here too," Ben remarked.

"Really??" she answered him sarcastically.

"Yes," Kai just answered, which made Willow giggle.

"Anyway, Mila asked if that's okay, and I didn't mind," Willow shrugged.

"I don't like the fact you didn't talk to me about it," Ben said seriously.

Willow now looked at Ben and understood she kinda fucked up here. She needed to talk with her boyfriend about something like that, but she wanted this to be a surprise that was lost in the process.

"You are right, sorry babe," Willow looked at him.

"I think Mila and I will go," Kai said, feeling the awkward atmosphere.

"No need, we can still hang. About what Willow said, we will see," Ben told Kai.

He could talk with Willow after. He didn't want the night with friends to end like that.

"Are you sure?" This time Mila asked. She felt bad about this situation. Willow did that for her, but it seems to create problems.

"Yeah, no worry," Ben told Mila.

"I am sorry guys, that was my fault," Willow said.

"You did that for me. I am also at fault," Mila told her, not letting Willow take the whole blame.

"Babe, we are still new as a couple. I did some stupid mistakes too. We learn," Ben said, giving a kiss to Willow, remembering several times Willow wanted to kick his ass.

"Yeah, but you are a dummy. I am not," Willow said seriously, which made the group laugh and break the weird atmosphere, and they were back to just chilling.

After another hour of them talking and playing some games, the night was close to over, and Ben looked at his girlfriend. "You still want to do your plan?"

"Are you sure?" Willow asked.

"Yep," Ben said. From the start, he didn't have a problem with this. He didn't like that his girlfriend didn't talk about something like that with him, and now he didn't mind it, but he also didn't forget that a talk should happen.

"I don't really mind. I think Mila is already excited," Kai laughed, watching his girlfriend, who had already started to get a little horny from the thought of that.

"How do we do that?" Ben asked. This one was very different from things he had experienced before.

"As usual?" Willow asked, as she wasn't so sure herself.

With another couple watching them, Willow went to her boyfriend, sat on his lap, and started to kiss him.
