Door-to-Door

Florence walked from the house to the sidewalk and then to the next house. A car passed and honked, and she just smiled and waved. She went to the next house and rang the bell. She noticed the doorbell cam and smiled into it.

The door opened and a middle-aged woman cracked the door, keeping the chain in place. "Are you in trouble, miss?"

"We all are if you don't sign my petition," said Florence.

"Why are you naked?"

"What the...how dare you say that, you...you...witch!" Florence turned on her heel and stormed off.

The same thing happened at the next three houses were someone answered the door. The person asked why Florence was naked, and she grew angry, insulted them, and stormed off.

As she was crossing the street to the other side of the block, muttering under her breath that not only was no one signing her petition, but they kept saying she was naked for some reason. She heard the short blast of a police siren and saw a police cruiser pull up to the curb.
