Don't take any chances, keep hidden

"I don't know how close they will get," you whisper, "but I don't want to risk anything. This looks like a good place to hide until they pass."

"You're right," Siora agrees. "We don't know how many are in their group, and there's a chance we could be quickly overwhelmed." You nod in agreement and the two of you kneel down together to wait it out. As you both take your place sitting on your feet, knees together, Siora let's out a pained yelp.

"Are you okay?" you ask in a panic, jumping back up to your feet as Siora doubles over onto her hands and knees.

Siora grits her teeth and inhales sharply. "I'm fine," she reassures you. She takes one hand and begins massaging her balls. "I guess I'm just not used to having this sticking out between my legs," she adds. You chuckle a bit, glad that she can make a more lighthearted comment while she's still visibly in pain. Unsure of what you can do to help, you spend the next few minutes on your knees next to her, rubbing her back while she slowly recovers.

Eventually Siora rises back upright and the two of you again huddle together close to the large bush you are using for cover. This time, she takes care to kneel down with her knees spread so as to not repeat the ordeal she just went through. You both reach an arm around each other's shoulders, holding each other tight as you listen for the strangers to pass. Minute after minute, you hear the sounds get closer and closer as you both hold each other silently, not wanting to make any sort of noise that would give away your position. You both stare at each other, a tinge of fear in your eyes as it soon sounds like the group is right on the other side of the bush!
