Dogs play in the back yard [Pet's POV]

Chip's PoV

“Can I trust you guys to play nice if I remove the leashes?”

*woof*

"Alright, you're free to play in the yard for, let's say... an hour or two. Then we'll head back inside"

Mom ran off into the garden. I stayed back to thank Nick.

“Wow Mom is really just like a dog. I’ve never seen her so... dog minded. She’s only really humored me in the past, more going through the motions than anything. Thanks for the hypnosis suggestion. Thought I might end up doing this dog thing on my own. Which wouldn’t be as fun.” I had a huge grin. “Its hard to believe how well it worked on me too.”

I leaned back onto my back legs, trying to stand, my paws up like a begging dog. Which resulted in my penis front and center at full mast. My balance just wasn’t happening, I fell down back to all fours and sits back down like a dog.

“Yep, I don’t think I could stand if I wanted to.”

“Could I …”.

“Go full dog too now”

*woof*

“OK have fun, ‘doggy time’ *snap*”.

My tongue fell out on its own, I spun around and went out to explore the garden.

"How about I go get a toy..." I heard the owner say.

Good thinking! and I did shake my tail a bit at the mention of the toys! I do have some cool ones prepared! It will be fun chasing a drone I'm sure!

Then I do decide to walk around a bit, sniff some flowers. I have to say the gardeners did an excellent job and the flower beds looked lovely. After that I was thinking about resting for a bit in shade. But Daisy apparently had other idea, I just followed her around like a puppy dog.

Mom's PoV

I wanted to check out the flower beds. Mmm they smell nice. I wonder about aimlessly, Daisy is following. Where’s Owner going?

I need to pee. That tree over there looks good. I sniff around, I squat down and let loose. Aaaa thats better.

Huh, Chip looks like he needed to go too.

Owner is back! and he has a ball!

“Daisy, Chip Come”. We walk over. “Sit”

Ball, oh come on, throw it, throw it.

“Fetch”

Chip and I scramble after it. Ball, Ball, Ball, … damn Chip is to fast.

We play for a while longer Chip still just outpacing me. But then it was over.

“That’s enough of that for now, go explore the garden”.

But I wanted that head-pats too. That's what I decided!

"Huh?" was his first response.

So I walked to Nick and started nuzzling his pants a bit - turned that pet charm to 11 and fished for a petting!

"Ok, girl. Is everything alright?"

Maybe I should purr a bit too? Just a little bit! - I thought to myself ... and did a bit! And it worked! I did receive a pet on a head and some ear scratches!

"You're ok girl, why don't you go play?"

With that success I was satisfied and did run off to admire the rest of the garden. Everything is tall and looked majestic. While all the flowers and masonry could be admired up-close.

Running did tired me out though so after about 15 minutes - and whole round around the garden - I came back under the shade and laid down.

Soon after Nick also ran towards me and laid down behind me, spooning me and nuzzling my back with his leather snout. Sun was shining, weather was warm, and we were relaxing laying down on the grass.

Mmmm. Heaven.
