Do nothing

The two of you stare at each other for a moment, as you notice the extensive degree of longing in her eyes. The silence holds for a moment, and you wonder who's going to be the first to break it... before the dryer behind you tumbles to a close, beeping to show its finished.

"Oh, I should go and leave you work," Sarah says. "I'll talk to you soon, you should come for a joint with us."

"Awesome," you nod.

Sarah quickly turns, running with her tail between her legs out of the room. As the door clatters shut, you realize she's left behind her laundry basket.

"Hey, you forgot your... ah fuck it, she can't hear me," you shrug. "I guess it's back to work."

Ignoring your weird, incestuous feelings, you return to work. It takes about an hour or more to get it all done, boring and monotonous work of drying and washing and sorting, but as you get along, the piles of laundry grow smaller until they vanish completely, and you're left pulling the last load of work out of the dryer. Suddenly, your phone buzzes, as you look at the screen to see Daniel's calling you.

"You finished yet, dickhead?"

"Just did," you say. "Why, what's up?"

"A couple of us were going with some of the girls to head into town and go shopping. You up for it?"

"I have an assignment due later, mate."

"So are you coming?"

Tossing the last of the dried laundry into the appropriate basket, you shrug.

"Yeah, fuck it. Alright then, I'll be over in a bit."

With that, you head out the door and leave your laundry chores behind you.
