Chapter 3 by WhoDat? WhoDat?

What are you destined for?

Divination - The Art of Scrying

It took a moment for you to notice that the liquid pouring from the cup had a brownish tint to it. You were worried at first, as brown tinted fluids generally were not a very good thing when you were still a lowly tavern worker. But you took notice of something else in there. Small little bits of leaves just floating around, some spilling to the ground, but most staying in the confines of the chalice, spinning in place. A hum from Morgana caught your attention.

"Interesting, you appear to have talents in the arts of Divination. Those gifted with this are able to see past, present, and future. You can discover details of one's hidden past, even unbeknownst to them, and also see into the future. Those truly gifted can spy on their enemies from half the globe away and know their exact movements. With your abundance of power, I wouldn't be surprised if every secret this world has becomes known to you." Morgana explained, her voice showing she wasn't quite excited at the idea of what your apparent talent had to offer, but was certainly intrigued by it.

Looking down at the assembly, you found a multitude of eyes peering into you. Some seemed to be angry and jealous, your massive wellspring of mana something to be desired. A few seemed somewhat fearful, of what you couldn't be certain since it didn't seem to be a very combat oriented power, but maybe they had secrets they'd like to keep. Only a handful seemed to look upon you with consideration and desire, perhaps seeing something in you and your power that others didn't.

"Your power will prove most useful to the Eternal Empire, despite lacking some of the... bite that others do. When we are done here, meet with Oracle Nandra." Morgana instructed, you accepting her words with but a nod of your head before quickly returning to the others. There was some fear that others would still look upon you with contempt for having no apparent battle prowess, but a part of you couldn't help but be pleased you wouldn't be on the front lines because of it.

Where do you go?
